Give me a reason to love this space. Honestly this space is better off being completely renovated for residential purposes, then maybe put a few shops at an atrium or street level. There is no retail, heck, there is no activity here. Avoid at all cost unless you are looking to depress yourself.
Shoppers Beware. Genuinely the worst mall experience I have had. Do not go here.nnThe entryway stairs smell like urine to the point where my partner was gagging. Large parts of the mall are empty with people loitering about. It was not clear how to re-enter the parking ramp there are no doorknobs or way to get in to the stairwells. We had to wander around until we were able to find someone to give us directions. He advised us to take the elevator inside. The elevator lights did not work, and was very clunky. We could not wait to get out.nnYou have been warned.
Mall was once the center of Winnipeg and fun and safe to visit, still active and open.. but a lot of sketchy people tend to congregate here. Witnessed many people stealing and security trying to keep them under control
I am surprised any positive reviews... or that this mall can afford to keep the lights on, or the several security guards paid!nnNice physical lay out, but vast majority of the mall is empty.nnCouple clothing stores, and a big Ardenes but cannot think of who would go there for these stores, which often had no customers, mid day Saturday. Couple food court options, but that's also half full.nnIt's sad, if not scary, several homeless people seem to wander the mall. Many seem under the influence. Many talking to themselves and seem angry.nnI am torn if should be 1 or 2 star, but at least the mall seemed physically clean, and had security guards at each entrance.nnSad, as central, nice physical building but like the empty sky walks, and with minimal pedestrians, I cannot see this place making a turn aroundnnGo to Polo Park if you'd like to shopnStaying downtown? Suggest you stay in the hotel pool
Too many vagrants loitering in front of main doors. Why do they allow this? Some are scared to go here. Useless security. This is why. Why dont police ticket the vagrants like in other cities? So, when TNS makes this, will they still allow loitering?
