We love Zaad! Authentic Turkish cuisine with a smile! Incredible service, fresh and delicious food. Everyone is so friendly and happy you’re there. Often while waiting for your food they offer you a bite of something you may have never tried. Make sure you say yes and it’s always delicious. Our favourite is the falafel Saj but the mix salad and basically everything else on the menu is fantastic. Don’t miss Zaad if you’re anywhere close by. You’ll thank me later!

Really really good shawarma. The ingredients are fresh and the prices are fair for the portions. Service is a bit slow understandable for how busy this place is and the dine-in tables could be a bit more ergonomic. Besides that, I can’t complain. I’d recommend the platters, especially the salmon kebab; it’s not something you can find at many M Eastern restaurants, and they do it really well.

Stopped off for a quick bite but it felt more like a dining experience. The decor, music, and service really transport you to another place. The food was prepared with care and full of flavour. Will definitely be back.Food: 5/5

Loved the chicken shawarma platter and the king kebab platter. The chicken and kebabs were soft and tasty even the rice and fries tasted great! The servers are really nice as well, would definitely recommend.

Huge portions, friendly staff, prices are ok. Located right by Spadina station, this is the spot to grab a filling meal after busy day! The atmosphere is great too, it does get loud though. Got our food pretty quickly. Ingredients were fresh and well cooked. One of the best shawarmas! Their creamy garlic sauce is great too! 4/5 - one of the washrooms didn’t work, and the place overall tables, floors could’ve been more clean.

Dropped in for diner with a friend and we both ordered the beef shawarma saj chopped into 6 pieces. It was very good and authentic but I think the portion or at least the amount of meat in it could have been better. Looks like the place has been around a while, staff were friendly. Would drop in again for a late night snack.Food: 5/5

One of the most authentic hidden gems for middle eastern shawarma in Toronto! The service is amazing- they are all so happy and nice and serve you with a smile! We came at 11 am as we saw a long line and decided to try it out! We were so happy with the quality and service! I got the Saj platter and the quality of the meat and saj sandwich was amazing! I recommend this place!

This place is just AMAZING! Today I tried ZAAD KABAB PLATTER, it’s their special item made with lemon & chicken, and it’s smokey flavour tastes perfect. Customer service skills are SO GOOD, you can see the passion in the staff while they are working, you will enjoy the energy while dining. Its hard to see such things - that someone is really enjoying what they are doing Their luscious menu will definitely make you come here again!

Ordered the Shawarma platter at late night online while there were not other options nearby. No complaints considering and price and portion. Chicken was cool but vegetables were old. A good place to go to get some food.
