Pretty decent lounge, not like your average big city airport lounges but it makes up for that by just having fewer people. In the morning you rarely have anyone in the lounge but you and can treat yourself to decent breakfast and drinks. A nice easily accessible lounge.
Very disappointing airport lounge. Definitely ranks near the bottom of my experiences at lounges over the years. Sat in lounge for over 2 hours and staff did not pick up dirty dishes etc. Service was minimal and without a smile or customer service skills. Food poor. Had to buy food and refreshments at shop outside of lounge. Can do better and not good for Winnipeg’s reputation.
Used to be better. They’ve gotten really cheap with the drinks and food switching to fountain versus cans. I have free access, but I definitely wouldn’t pay to come here.
People were very friendly. Food is decent with good variety. It's a nice place to sit in while you wait for your flight. I took pictures of the food so you can get a better look. I didn't notice many charging ports. It's not a very big lounge so it fills quickly . There is a limit to the amount of alcohol that is free. As I do not drink it's never been an issue, I just noticed a sign posted today. 2 hour stay 4 alcoholic beverages. 3 hour stay is 6 alcoholic beverages. One hour extension is $10. Looks like that includes 2 extra alcoholic beverages. Right now they moved the lattes to the bar. They still do not have decaf. I hope they rectify that in the future.
Wow. This is the life. Fancy lunch, excuse me, lunches, they even have Ft Garry Dark on tap. My wife says there is only one scotch at the bar, but it is a good one. I've never bothered with the place, but for my 60th my daughter upgraded a trip to Ottawa for me and paid our entry to the lounge she found some sort of a deal online It is a nice space to wait. Chairs, power points for electronics, it's own wifi, unlimited buffet that changes every couple of hours, coffee, soft drinks. Expensive if you do it all the time, but if you are stuck waiting between flights it sure beats waiting at the gates or sitting in the Tim's
It's definitely one of the cleanest lounges I've seen. Its layout is very spacious. The glass walls help the space seem even larger. The staff here are extremely friendly. Good addition to the Winnipeg Airport.
Excellent staff, especially on Christmas day! The food was great. Breakfast was standard scrambled eggs, hash and sausage. Lunch however was amazing, the steak bites were delicious. The setup was excellent A combination of small tables to work at, comfy chairs and individual seating nooks for reading. Ps. Get the craft brew beers on tap instead of Bud Light lol, limited selection but still great options! Will definitely stop in again
The Premium Plaza lounge at Winnipeg airport is located beside gate 6 in the international and domestic side of the airport, note that you cannot access it if you are flying to the US. The lounge is a nice open area with glass partitions and it seats about 80 people. They have a nice food and drink offering but premium alcohol is charged for at the bar. There is also a small business centre with computers in one of the corners of the lounge. There are plenty of power points by the chairs and they have dedicated Wi-Fi and a good selection of papers and magazines. Overall a good domestic lounge.
One of the nicer lounges in Canada. Decent food, including hot selections and the bar is quite nice - nothing premium but included. They ran out of glasses though... so we had half pint glasses used for wine and vodka on ice.
Staff are great. Food is what you would expect from this type of place. They really need to replace their furniture though. Almost every chair has nasty stains and the fabric is worn out.
