Only hot food items were two soups, but exemplary staff service especially from Kathy more than made up for it. This Maple Leaf Lounge unlike the domestic one in YVR has an actual business centre with computers/desks/chairs and a functioning printer the printer at the MLL in Calgary hasn't been functioning in years.
Very crowded at noon hour, and not much to eat. Good prepared veggies and dip. Husband liked the chowder.
Its ok, minor hot food. Fir a travelers lounge, it needs work
No hot food. Some table tops are loose. Screws need to be tightened.
I can't say I see the overall benefit based on how Air Canada has structured this perk. The food selection is pitiful, as are the drinks. You're basically looking at the same fare you'd get for a complimentary continental breakfast at a hotel. The seating is less comfortable than what you get in the terminal. There's not a lot of space for several passengers at once. It also is absolutely *not* worth $30 to pay to get in here. I also think that when travelling with a family, they should all get access, rather than dividing your family or simply being blocked from the perk. Especially for me where I actually have access both through my credit card, as well as through elite status.
Very impressive lounge. Great service. Clean. Quiet. Variety of magazines and lots of food and drinks stocked in the lounge. Great hot breakfast!
It was great..Nice selection of food..Good place to sit and relax
Excellent service and good variety of snacks before your flight
Hi everyone. Am traveling through Winnipeg and spending a 2.5 hour layover in the Air Canada lounge. The serving staff were excellent and I sincerely appreciate their hard work to make everyone comfortable. My complaint with this lounge is that there is a four chair seated area in front of the only large flat screen TV. When my traveling colleague and I arrived the TV had sports playing. With no one else in this small area we requested that the sports be changed to a News channel as we were tracking several national and international current events. The staff at the front desk of the lounge denied our request to change to a News channel. I was directed to a small TV in the food court area where people could stand and see news if they wished. I travel all over Canada and overseas and this is the first lounge that had this type of policy. It was disappointing especially given that no one else came into the "sports" viewing area for the 2.5 hrs stay. Please try and follow other example in other lounges.
The usual Air Canada Lounge for smaller cities. It's clean, well maintained. Lots of drinks.
