This has been the most hostile RV manager I have ever encountered. She bullied us the second we got there. Mary was the most aggressive person I have dealt with. We decided to give this park a chance, unfortunately it was our last resort. She had availability when the other parks did not, now we know why. It was overpriced twice the cost of others and all she kept saying was " is there a problem here??" Wouldn't let us park in peace. Wouldn't let us set up, she was constantly in our space, even while my husband and I were having private conversations. I would not recommend. Sleep at Walmart. Beware.
We are from Edmonton and planned our trip to BC very last minute, which means we didn’t book RV parks. I called every single RV park in Kelowna area, most didn’t answer. Mary, the owner, missed my call and called me right back. She told us to come whenever, park in whatever lot was open and hook up. We met her the next morning and paid her for two nights. It is by a road but, that didn’t seem to bother us. Some people are looking for amenities and a nice scenery to look at - this RV park is not that but it is reliable for water, sewer and electrical and we felt safe. The other people living there are mostly seniors and very friendly people. Mary also doesn’t care about when you leave, there is no check out time, do things at your own pace. I would definitely suggest this RV park if you are looking for a laid back chilled vibe!
The absolute worst customer service I've ever received. The owner is so aggressive and rude and immediately became more hostile when I said that we have a husky because "they have old people there" which makes absolutely no sense. No wonder they still have space when all other places are booked! Trash website awell.
Depressing place, located close to the highway and next to a truck tank stop. The spots look like the gardener has fled some years ago. Price is too high for value delivered. >50 Canadian $, having coin showers as well. When we were there, there were hardly any other occupants, so it didn't feel as the most secure place. It helped that Mary who was kind enough ensured that a permanent resident was around and that she lived close by. On the bright side: Washing rooms seemed well maintained and washing machine and dryer worked very well. Bearable for a single night passing-through stop but don't expect this place to add anything positive to your holiday-vibe.
**Renters Beware** The owner Mary seemed like a kind, forgetful woman who ended up being a nightmare to deal with. She refused to give a receipt for rent and then stole over $1,000 from me.
Mary was a delightful host. This was my maiden voyage as a RV'r and her help made my trip go so smooth. She was also very generous with us and gave us some eggs! I would recommend staying here. Her rates are fare and her kindness makes the stay a pleasant one.
She called me back and told me my trailer was too old. It's a nice 2010 open range, I saw other trailers there, including hers that was far far older than mine.
A pleasant campground for a short stay. The hostess, Mary, makes up for a lot of it. She had some info on activities and attractions on hand. She offered us some apricots from the tree and some tables and chairs. She even reduced our rates a little because we had an old trailer with no air conditioning. Great place to stop at en route on your road trip. The place is by the highway so easy to get to and get out. Mind you there is the sound of the cars passing that you can hear from the site. Better for an RV, trailer or camper than a tent. All sites are covered with gravel. Not a pull through site; you will have to back in it out at some point. Reasonably doable for us with a 17 feet trailer. Sites all come with power and sewer hookup. No separate charge for using the sanidump. Close 5 minute drive to Superstore, Canadian Tire, Walmart, fast food places if you don't feel like cooking or need to stock up on supplies. Short drive to 5 different wineries roughly in the same areas. Call ahead if you plan on arriving past 7 pm. She has to come from her home to greet you then across the highway. Secure gate to the park with an access code. Coin paid laundry on site. No wifi access but 2 bars with 3G on the Rogers network here for tethering your internet off your phone. Showers are $1 but the faucet was terrible that I could only turn it to get either hot only or cold only water. It did not rotate 360 for me to get a blend. Right in the center between cold and hot was off. Major disappointment - you might be ok if your trailer is equipped with a shower. I took my next shower with a solar shower bag we keep in our trailer. Only good thing is that it is handicap accessible. Not recommended for a long stay with young children only on the account in the lack of playground. This isn't a resort so much as a place to have a short stay while you go out to explore Kelowna for a couple days.
Didn't even get a chance to stay here. Emailed, as per someone named Mary's request, on two different occasions, and no response. When we called to follow up, she hung up on us. Guess we won't be camping long term here.
The worst management you have ever come across in your entire life. Over priced considering you're staying in a parking lot. If your deciding between walmart parking lot and there. Please for the love of god, go to Wal-Mart. Do not stay here for your sake.
