I am posting this so no one else makes the same mistake I did. It’s fine to shop in but if you want to sell your clothes beware they do not accept fancy designer clothes. They really only accept clothing that’s one year old because they say “ they want to be competive with the malls” well they aren’t because they are a used clothing store competitive with Value Village. Anyways if you have classic designer pieces this is not the place to sell clothes. If you have a 16 year old who wants new clothes from Forver 21 every 3 months then this is a good outlet for you as they really only want garbage clothes that are teen trendy and that they will pay 3 dollars for. Total bust and waste of time.

This location is the second Plato's I visit, the first one being in Brampton. I had come in today to sell for the first time (I usually buy) with three bags of clothing looking to sell some items. I waited around the store for 20 minutes as I was not really in the mood to drive home and then back, so I stayed. After about 40 minutes passed with no indication that my clothing was done, I went into the line to ask. The cashier was very rude to several customers in front of me, causing even the customer behind me to notice and comment to the person they were in the line with. She gave a guy who sold his items the wrong amount of cash and when he came back to say that, she became very passive aggressive talking to her coworker in front of everyone saying "I don't get it" and "check cameras" in a condescending way to make it seem like he was lying, and even gave her coworker a side eye while the guy was talking to her. Next, the guy in front of me. She was very rushed in her conversation with him and again, had the worst attitude while the customer did not display the same negative attitude towards her. She was overall just very sarcastic, rude, and has a terrible attitude as a sales associate. I did not get her name but she had her hair in a ponytail and wore a thick red lanyard with black writing on her neck. It had a buckle which unclips the key at the end. In the end, I only got two of my items sold even though several things I owned were in their little pamphlet of what they were looking for currently (style and brand). However, that is okay. I understand the process of how they select clothes and I have no problem with that. I work in retail myself so I know how these things go. I do not think I will ever return here again for buying or selling purposes. I do not consider myself a confrontational person and the way she was treating several other people in the store and myself for no apparent reason was not okay. I hope the company looks into this and trains their staff to be more friendly to customers.

This place was recommended by a friend but unfortunately I was quite disappointed with the service I received. The staff was rude and dismissive and didn’t care to look through the items I brought for sale. This store might be interesting for people looking to buy teenage clothing with some attitude on the side but, if you’re looking to sell some clothing and shoes, look elsewhere because the process is simply difficult and frustrating.

The store has so much selection compared to other locations, and it's very neat & organized. Staff was really helpful too

Dealing with the other cashiers and workers are very pleasant but theres one girl who is really rude and from the sense of entitlement im guessing shes the manager or supervisor. Theyre fine if youre buying but if you try to sell they treat you like trash.
