Plato's Closet® is all about being fashion savvy and shopping smart. We specialize in gently used clothes and accessories for teen and twenty something girls and guys. All stores are independently owned franchises.

At Plato's Closet® you'll find a huge selection of trendy, designer styles as well as those every day basics you can't live without - all at up to 70% off mall retail prices!

Our stores buy and sell girls sizes 0/1 to 15/16 and guys size 28 to 38 waist. The gently used clothing and accessories that we buy are: top-name brands, cool, hip, trendy, and clean. Typically we buy items that have been in the retail stores within the past 12 to 18 months.

Our process is quick and easy:

1. Go through your overflowing closet
2. Bring in your cool stuff
3. Walk out with new cool stuff or $$$ in your pocket!

This Plato’s is one of my favorites! Selection of clothing is great! They are quick and efficient when it comes to selling clothing, but don’t expect much since they aren’t fully consignment They buy your clothing but you don’t have to wait for your clothes to sell to get cash.nnThe workers are great, extremely helpful and great customer service. If you have any questions don’t be shy to ask them. As a student looking for affordable clothing and trendy ones, this Plato’s Closet is your friend! Definitely love the store and would recommend to others
I like the store chain itself, but the staff at this location are not always friendly. This is not the first time I’ve felt uncomfortable there.nnFirst, you often have to look for someone to open the fitting rooms, and you rarely find an associate nearby.nnSecond, you can’t reserve clothes and the worst is that I can never get in touch with this location when I need to.nnOne of the employees—a young man—assured us that the store doesn’t sell fake products. However, we came one day for a pair of shoes, purchased them, and it turned out they were not original. We don’t live close, and the trip took us almost an hour by car. That’s a lot.nnPlease provide correct information in the future.
Just saying fact about my first experience selling items to this store yesterday. I did my research. The store says they'll buy lightly used active wear, shirts, dresses, etc which what all I had.-some of the items I brought in we're not even used. They were just wrong size and forgotten to be returned ,but really good brands. The staff only picked 1 or 2 items for $5. I didn't care about that really because I was told I would only get paid 2 percent of how much they would sell the item for, it was the reasoning that she made up' that most of them have stains. Lol! I should have taken picture of their displays where there are blazers with remnants hanging,they look overused. In my opinion, I feel that if their friends or family come in, they would take more of their stuff to help their own that's why you could see a lot of no quality clothes on display. Good to know how their system works. Also, we were told no plastic bags, but my husband saw a Filipina brought in clothes in a big plastic bag and the Filipina staff at the back took her plastic bag in-interesting. So, what do you think, management? Well, just saying what my experience was anyway, for sure you don't care but at least I said what I needed to say.nnitems
Terrible customer service. Bought none of my items with reason being they didn’t sell my items. After taking a look around the store, not only did they have for sale similar items I brought in, but in worse conditions. I wouldn’t be as disappointed if they had a better attitude. On my way out, I was asking for the employees name to have in my review. They hesitated for almost a minute. Don’t understand what they think I would do with their name. Regardless, there’s a reason they have a low star rating. I would give them less than a one if I could. Choose any other location! Customer service was disappointing.
Love this location the staff is extremely friendly, they are all extremely personable and truly deserve more respect. Most of the reviews like genuinely don’t make sense because i’ve always had a great experience here and always find fire items.nnIt just seems like people dont pay attention to anything the staff says when explaining how their buying works, how theyre looking for CURRENT trends- clothing for teenagers like THINK: nike, jordan, lululemon, urban outfitters, aritzia etc but then bring them a shein shirt with stains and get mad… or people dont understand basic respect I guess because there’s really people under here asking why theyre… entitled?? To what… respect?nJust really disappointing because the comments on here truly dont showcase what a gem of a store this is like truly.
