Plato's Closet® is all about being fashion savvy and shopping smart. We specialize in gently used clothes and accessories for teen and twenty something girls and guys. All stores are independently owned franchises.

At Plato's Closet® you'll find a huge selection of trendy, designer styles as well as those every day basics you can't live without - all at up to 70% off mall retail prices!

Our stores buy and sell girls sizes 0/1 to 18/20 and guys size 28 to 40 waist. The gently used clothing and accessories that we buy are: top-name brands, cool, hip, trendy, and clean. Typically we buy items that have been in the retail stores within the past 12 to 18 months.

Our process is quick and easy:

1. Go through your overflowing closet
2. Bring in your cool stuff
3. Walk out with new cool stuff or $$$ in your pocket!

I usually find some good things when I'm shopping around in here which is a plus. But, unfortunately, I've never had a good shopping experience. I'm not one to ever complain about stuff. But The associates here have never been polite to me ever. I've worked retail and I completely understand how some days can be but it seems more often than not it's an unpleasant environment.

I've been to Plato's Closets in different locations across the country and this one has to be the worst! I came in hoping to sell at 7:15pm. Although the store is open until 9pm a consultant told me that they were finished accepting clothes for the evening. Again, I've been to Platos Closets in many locations and I have never been turned away before 8pm. It's a shame for them because I was planning on spending a significant amount of money there--being as I just moved from a warm climate and planned on stocking up on winter attire. I will not be going back.

Bring your clothes to a different Plato's. I brought my clothes in and they said they would be ready for pick-up at 7. I brought them in a little after 4. When I went in, they said they were "a little behind" and that it would be another 45 minutes. That makes it 3.5 hrs total! They expect you to just keep going back and forth till they are ready. I only had a small bag with 5 or 6 items in it too. I have never had this experience at any other Plato's closet and it has always been 1 hour tops. Either this place is under staffed or the workers there today suck at the job they have.

I always have the best of luck in this Platos. Whether its just a hat, wallet, earrings or clothes I always leave super satisfied. And I like the customer serice they are all so busy with the buying proccess but still have time to help shopping customers and keep it clean. Its never trashed like other retailers and is easy to navigate.

Only 1 person ringing stuff up and going threw stuff. And that 1 person is talking to her friend who came in. Was told 30 min so i wanted and took 2 hours. Sad.
