The guy and girl on morning staff are extremely helpful on everything I’ve asked for and needed. Even helped me learn how to use different workout machines! I’ve gone to 4 planet fitnesses but this one has easily been my favorite! Very clean and organized
I really like the layout of this Planet Fitness, it's huge and has a dedicated area for stretching, the 30 minute workout, StairMaster, you name it. There are a ton of machines, you should never have to wait for anything. I also like the layout of the ladies locker rooms and showers. I've never used the tanning bed or the massages, so I can't speak to that. The parking is easy, and it's in a shopping center with some other interesting places to visit. All in all, this one and the one in Clifton Park are my two favorite in the Albany area. Keep up the good work.
The shower stalls and changing area I don't think have been cleaned since I joined. The same clumps of hair that were on the floor my first day are still there. With three people at the front counter I'm not sure why it's not being cleaned hourly.
Club is always clean and never to crowded. Love all the changes they made.
This place is a joke. Address the cleanliness of the facility. You opened up after renovations and seems like little cleaning was done. No new machines. Where’s the investment ? Take pride in your establishment. This has been ONGOING. Glad i have the black card and can choose where to go.
Update: renovations have started and I'm super excited for a facelift. Not sure what the plan is, but looking forward to it either way. I've been coming to this location for years. They've consistently tried to keep things up to date with newer equipment and fresh paint but it always seems to be a little behind other locations. I will say the people who work here are great, and if a piece of equipment breaks down it gets repaired quickly unlike years ago when I first joined. Overall, it meets my needs and couldn't be in a more convenient location.
Very Glad I joined a gym again. Its not only great for the body, but Super for the mind. I realized some of the patrons are as sloppy here as they must be home by looking at the female restroom. Patrons should have more manners. I like the gym. Great size, close to my home.
Good gym overall, but needs more attention from maintenance perspective: - couple of machine's plastic handles are ripped and leave sticky oil goo on your hands after usage; - shower stall hooks are not attached properly; - shower water somewhat floods immediately adjacent area to the stall making it hard to get dressed right after; - no proper pull-up bar;
Good budget gym, but boggles my mind they play fox news… so one star off
A pretty nice PF, great staff, and a really phenomenal trainer. My partner and I have been training with Arnole for about a month and a half, and we’ve seen some really excellent gains. Arnole has fixed my form on dozens of exercises, particularly while lifting weights, enabling me to really start making progress after feeling stagnant while lifting for a while. Really excited to keep improving and learning!
