PJC Jean Coutu

Due to being an orphan patient, I was instructed by Info Santé to contact my pharmacy to request that they fax a demand for me to see a doctor for prescription renewals. I was informed by Jean Coutu that a fax will be sent. I called the pharmacy roughly two weeks after they sent the fax, to ensure that it was actually done. I was assured that they indeed faxed a request for me to be seen by a doctor. It’s been roughly 4 weeks since the request was made. I received a phone call yesterday from Jean Coutu about my prescription renewals. I asked them about the fax they sent. They claimed that they have no information within their system that a fax was sent. As I suspected, they were incompetent in carrying out a simple instruction. Not only that, they literally lied to me twice that a request had been faxed. This was a blatant violation of my rights as an orphaned patient. Jean Coutu customers, know your rights concerning these issues. I hope you learn something from my review.nnI previously had problems with this pharmacy not having my medication in stock, after I ordered it days ahead of time. This franchise was charging my private insurance for my medication before ordering it from their supplier. I was told that they would resolve the problem. It happened a second time, causing me to go without medication for a couple of days. Once again, they charged my private insurance days before receiving my medication from their supplier. Now they fixed that problem only to cause this new one. I am tired of dealing with businesses who want my money but treat me like dirt once they receive it.nnJean Coutu, is my business with your establishment a joke?
