The service and food was really good. I know that Neapolitan pizza is focused on individual ingredients and yes the dough, the sauce and every topping including the cheese tasted high quality. You can call me a brute but I like the whole top of my pizza covered in cheese and that wasn’t really the case here. The cheese pizza was my favourite for that reason, with a variety of cheeses and different flavours. If you’re looking for a more authentic pizza experience this place is the way to go.
From the atmosphere to the last bite of dessert, the place is great! They have also Fernet Branca, which was a great surprise for me. We even brought home a sourdough bread that was delicious.nWe will come back to try out all the pizzas in the menu.
Great service and great food! I’ve driven by so many times and finally stopped in! A great neighbourhood restaurant. The restaurant has a very cozy authentic atmosphere, down to the music.nnThe wood fired pizza was so delicious, it was thin and crispy. The toppings were so fresh and also full of flavour. Amazing quality, large portions and flavours. We also ordered the truffle fries and baked olives, the fries reminded me of back home. So crisp and herby ! With just the right amount of parmesan cheese And the baked olives with the orange zest were just as delicious! Service was prompt and our server was very attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for either a date night or family dinner or if you wanna go alone and enjoy some of the most delicious food I’ve ever had!! Can’t wait to drop in again.
Place was really beautiful, really brought me back to Italy when I vacationed there. The food is absolutely worth the prices, haven't found a better wood fire oven pizza place in Calgary. Comparing the pizza I've had in Italy, this is the closest thing you can get to authentic. Though the staff seemed a little lost, they were friendly and polite. Would most definitely come here again.
Seriously worth the hype! Service was perfectly attentive. It was really well timed with checking in, refilling waters, clearing plates. And the food was unreal - we tried 4 pizzas and they were all flavourful and delicious. I feel like when you try a pizza place the flavours can kind of blend into one another and all of them taste similar salty, same sauce, etc. but pizza culture does a fantastic job of differentiating each flavour palate from fresh, spicy, comforting. BOOK AHEAD!
