The course definitely lives up to its price point. It's a links style, flat course that is walkable if you can get past the long walks in between holes. Facilities and clubhouse are very nice. Personally not my style of course where i prefer more trees and a nice scenery but its at no fault to the course. Layout is moderately challenging and is a well designed golf course. Has a driving range and a nice putting area as well. They have nice turf on the range but I have noticed they are becoming more mats only nowadays. Food is also good here. Would definitely recommend giving this course a try if you are willing to pay for a $80 - $100+ round of golf. Only bad thing I would say about this course is that their carts are expensive at $20 dollars a person. That's $40 a cart and $80 extra if you are running a 4 some. Way too expensive for a cart.
Really nice course and overall facilities. Well maintained and enjoyable to play and slightly challenging at times which is fun. Great service on the course from the cart girls and a nice clubhouse resto bar as well. Would recommend a visit here for sure
Its a very nice course. Beautiful views and great facilities. Greens are why I've given this 4 stars. They are too hard and too fast. I rarely make and then have to repair ball marks, and getting backspin on the green doesn't have much effect; The ball still rolls too far.
We had a beautiful fall wedding at Piper's Heath. The Event Manager, Matt, was amazing and made sure the day went smoothly from start to finish. Everyone raved about the food, specifically how perfectly cooked the beef tenderloin was. We were taken out on the course for amazing pictures/video. All staff were kind and did an excellent job. Thank you to all at Piper's Heath!
A beautiful course with mostly amazing staff, but unfortunately after today’s experience I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone including my experienced golf player friends. One of the marshals was incredibly rude to us, and essentially blamed us for going too slow even though the foursome in front of us was to blame. As a result, we spent our 9 holes under stress and we were playing best ball, but still had demands to let people play through. On holes 2 though to 6, we had JUST started the hole, and I mean 90 seconds in, and we were already put under pressure to speed up. Perhaps they should improve their scheduling, or the rude marshal should actually do his job correctly.
Great patio with delicious food and super friendly staff. The course is always in great shape and a challenge for players of all ability. The cart staff are wonderful.
Excellent condition marshals out keeping pace of play. Did I say the course is immaculate even in 48 degree days? Had wings there, breaded which is not my thing they were ok. Ceasar was on point and spicy. Very good course challenging.
This is a beautiful course, but challenging. On the day that I went, we played blues, but the blues were with the gold tees at the back for almost all the holes so it was long. I didn't mind it as much except for on one of the par 3's, it made it a 235yr par 3. Course is in fantastic shape and the greens are nice and hard and rolling quite true. If you're up for a challenge, I highly recommend.
It is a beautiful golf course and an easy walk. Very enjoyable !!!! From the check in at the golf shop to the servers at the Bar and Restaurant your people could not be more pleasant or helpful. And need I maention they were all female!!! Probably the reason everything ran so smoothly.. Your gardens are also spectacular so elegant and understated . Beautiful. Thank you so much for a fabulous experience. We will definitely be back. Christine Johnson
Great course. Customer service was exceptional. Pipers heath is a challenge but a fun course, we played the blue tees which measure 6600, and found the layout was tough but fair. It is designed more for better players however if you pick the right tee a more novice player can have fun. The greens are fast and firm but the fairways are lush and are receptive. The fescue is long and tough and I would recommend hitting provisionals as the marshall does make sure groups keep pace. Overall fun challenging course, it is worth the price.
