Pioneer Pub

Had a group of 8 adults and 4 kids on a Monday night. Few people ad the bar besides our table. Ordered appetizers and food at same time and asked for apps first. In the mean time another table of 8 and 6 walked in. 20 minutes later, the waitress informs us all the apps we ordered they are out of. All they have are fries, onion rings, and nachos. We order those. 30 minutes later we ask how long on the apps and ask for them to at least get our kids chicken tenders out cuz they are starving. 20 minutes after that our kids tenders and something that resembles old stale cold nacho platter shows up. In the meantime the other two tables who came in 20 minutes after us now have all their food and are eating. Our food slowly starts to trickle in, after sitting now for about an hour and a half. My wife's medium rare cheese burger resembles more if a hockey puck rather then a burger. Our all you can eat wings show up, we order 4 more orders right away. The food was sub par. We have now been sitting for over two hours, and our under cooked second orders of the wings show up. The waitress give a %15 discount on one check, and neglects to recognize the rest of us have had about the worst dining experience ever, and does not give us a discount. Truly the worst dining experience I have ever had. Won't be returning.

I really enjoy the Pioneer Pub. Ken and Regina are great people and serve an outstanding breakfast in the morning on the deck overlooking the Mill pond. What a great relaxing start to the day.

The pizza is the best! A wide variety of beer for the enthusiast. Pleasant cabin atmosphere. Oh and breakfast is really good especially their biscuits and gravy!

We camp and get our Christmas tree in this area, always can get good food here.

Nice view, in the heart of downtown Wild Rose. Good food and a unique dining room including taxidermy native animals.
