The Pine Lodge on Whitefish River

Hotel was nice in theory. The advertising was great. Great location and on the river. Lots of things to do and free amenities, however, so many things were either broken or dirty.nn-Outside main Hot tub has not worked the week we have been here 6/8-13/2026n- HOWEVER the hotel did change the pool so half of it is cut off. The inside half is like 104 degrees and the make shift hot tub while the other is under maintenance. This was disappointing for the kids but a great service for adults.n- lots of games or activities broken arcade games, pool table or pieces missing chess board, other games in the game roomn- HOWEVER the tv and shuffleboard game was a hit with our family. We made good use of it.n- Free bikes to rent out however, the bike chains kept coming off and there was only 1 little kid bike and it was Barbie so my 8 yo son was not interested. We returned them immediately after renting.nn- the breakfast had some pretty good options but didn’t have any water easy fix to add a picture of waternn- free laundry roomnn- exercise room was great but it was rather dirty. This room needs wipes as well for people to wipe down the equipment.nn- had a moldy looking spot in the shower of our room and the mattress cover has a period stain on it which was underneath our heads . Otherwise the room looked fine. Smelled like burnt hair first few days.nn- service was always ready to answer questions and gave us a 15 min heads to before having to leave the pool.

The Riverfront has the best front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and service staff! Complimentary shuttle to the ski resort is unbeatable! The rooms are clean and roomy. The game room and access to the breakfast lounge allowed us the opportunity to dine in and gather with friends. A little variety for the breakfast would have been nice over our 3 night stay, but the food offered was hot and plentiful. We will definitely make this our go to place to stay. Yana and Chris made us feel like family!

We had a great experience here! The front desk person Jesus was extremely kind when we asked for an early check in. We got a free mug with a trail mix when we checked in. The breakfast was delicious and they had a wide variety that was fresh. The staff was knowledgeable to answer questions on the bus system. There’s fresh cookies and coffee around the clock! The rooms were cleaned well and the patio too. The staff was super considerate through shift change and all. Definitely recommend, as a family of four with 2 year old and 6 year old.

We traveled as a family of four with two kids and stayed in a King Suite. The room size worked well for us and felt comfortable and cozy. The king bed was nice, and the jetted bathtub was a great bonus after a long day.nnHowever, I don’t think this room is suitable for five people as advertised. The sofa bed is only comfortable for one small, light child. If you need an extra rollaway bed, there is an additional charge, so it’s something to keep in mind when booking 40$ that we got changed for 4 nights stays.nnCheck-in was standard service. The staff provided handled things well, even though some of the information we received beforehand was a bit confusing and didn’t fully match our expectations.nnThe room was not as clean as expected based on the standard and the reviews we had read. The blankets had small stains that looked like old blood, which was concerning.nnUnfortunately, the pool and hot tub were closed during our stay, so we couldn’t use those amenities.nnBreakfast was good overall.nnWe liked the amenities and playroom, which were great for families and group travel.nThe location is very convenient easy to find, close to grocery stores and restaurants, just a few minutes from downtown, and about 30 minutes from the entrance to Glacier National Park.nnOverall, it was a comfortable stay for a family with young kids, but I would not recommend this room for five people or families with older children.

This little hotel has had a very recent renovation and upgrade. It is quite quiet and the amenities are well done.nnThere is an indoor/outdoor pool with a swim through which was a cool little touch. The hot tub is small but adequate.nnAcross from the pool is a very large game room with a large TV, pool table, large seating area and a big buck hunter video game. This easily could've been turned into rooms but it was nice that they put some effort into providing a relaxing space. Your gear after a day of skiing/snowboarding can be put in the equipment room which has drying racks for your boots and gloves and lots of storage. The only downside is that it is not secure so you are trusting your fellow hotel guests.nnBreakfast changes daily and has three hot items consisting of usually an egg, hash brown, meat like bacon or sausage. It also has a fresh pancake maker which is convenient.nnThe little danishes they have are quite delicious so save some room.
