The Pine Lodge on Whitefish River

While the room was big and location is good, we felt uncomfortable due to the uncleanliness. Stay for rate and location, you just might have to remove strands of hairs before laying in bed and avoid stepping on the sticky spots on he floor. Would maybe book again, but would also really consider the Apres hotel next door...nnWe had a family suite. Very spacious, great view. But our place was filthy. Large red stains on the comforter, several long hairs in the sheets, several obvious spots of food pressed into the carpet, toothpaste spit all over the walls, and old trash and crumbs under and behind furniture. We requested they clean our room again, and they only removed the obvious jelly smudge on the carpet. Even their elevator had old spill stains on the walls, so their standard for cleanliness just isn’t there. The AC units and faux fireplace all made loud grinding or banging noises.nnBreakfast is fine - not good but not terrible. Their pool and game room looked cool. The free wash machine and dryers, though a little beat-up, were helpful.

This hotel is a perfect stay if you want to hang in Whitefish and have a kid/kids. The heated indoor/outdoor pool, cocoa bar, and smores station were all big hits with my kiddo. She also loved the pancake machine.nnWe came in by Amtrak, and the hotel shuttle picked us up from the station and got us back for our trip home. The hotel is right on the free SNOW bus line, and we were able to get up to the ski resort and around town without any problems, even without a car.nnWe came in the winter and played in the snow, but I would assume its a great summer stay also, with paddle board rentals and stuff available.nnIf you have a car, it's not too far from Glacier NP, although if I planned a park day, I'd probably want to stay closer as the lines to enter the park can get very long from previous experience.

Stayed here last June while attending a friend’s wedding and was blown away by the bang for your buck value here! The room was nice and clean, and breakfast each morning was an easy going always on time make your own plate kind of thing with a scenic outdoor dining area as well as a scenic large window bar view. The staff were very friendly as well! The best part was the included ability to rent a bike and or kayak with your stay as the hotel is on a beautiful river along with a breathtaking bike trail. The location was awesome as well as that same trail allowed you to bike right into town within 5-10 minutes depending on where you were going! The only downside of the hotel was the elevator seemed to be a bit dated and hallways seemed slightly old as well but once in your room it is easy to forget! My family and I will definitely be back!

The Riverfront has the best front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and service staff! Complimentary shuttle to the ski resort is unbeatable! The rooms are clean and roomy. The game room and access to the breakfast lounge allowed us the opportunity to dine in and gather with friends. A little variety for the breakfast would have been nice over our 3 night stay, but the food offered was hot and plentiful. We will definitely make this our go to place to stay. Yana and Chris made us feel like family!

We had a great experience here! The front desk person Jesus was extremely kind when we asked for an early check in. We got a free mug with a trail mix when we checked in. The breakfast was delicious and they had a wide variety that was fresh. The staff was knowledgeable to answer questions on the bus system. There’s fresh cookies and coffee around the clock! The rooms were cleaned well and the patio too. The staff was super considerate through shift change and all. Definitely recommend, as a family of four with 2 year old and 6 year old.
