Founded as a single gas station in 1958, Pilot Flying J today is North America's largest operator of truck stops and travel centers, which include Pilot Travel Center locations. This place is just what you would expect from a truck stop just off the interstate; dirty looking middle aged guys with bluetooth headsets and a missing tooth, dingy bathrooms and flies. Yes flies were a problem. The family stopped and ate at McDonald's, and we regretted not getting it to go. Yes, this place has gas, showers, cinnabon, McDonald's and snacks you would expect at a convenience store. It also has a seedy aura to it. Get in and get out!

I stop here pretty much every time I go by for truck supplies, electronics, snacks etc. Never had a problem other than the lines can be long. Restroom is always clean, prices are reasonable.

This place is very busy, so parking can be hard to find parking, and there can be a wait for gas. That said, it's 24 hours, has a built-in McDonald's as well as Pilot Travel Center and convenience store. The gas prices aren't outrageous, though they aren't low either. At night, you pump your own gas at this location now due to Oregon's rural gas laws. During the day they still pump it for you. This law has been in effect for a while now, though it can still confuse people who are not from Oregon. That said, I've never had any issues here other than trying to find parking.
