This is a nice public area. The Plymouth Rock has a cool building around it, and it's easily accessed. The waterfront area in general is quite nice, and easy to navigate. We loved wandering into the shops, checking out the rock and the public art display (6-foot lobsters!) and dining at a local seafood restaurant. This is a great area for families, as there are lots of shops mixed in with the public areas. We'll definitely be back to discover more in Plymouth!

What an awe-inspiring experience! The rich history, beautiful views, can't beat it! The actors were very much in character and well-informed to answer any questions. Would love to visit again. If you have children in your group, be sure to take a ride over to Edaville thomas the train amusement park, too!

There is a lot to see here so allow a few hours. The main museum takes a couple of hours to see and there are several other very worthwhile houses to see. Walk along the waterfront, see what he rock, walk up the steps above the rock to see several monuments and memorials, and eat lunch in a local restaurant while you are there.

Interesting, but certainly not quite what I expected, still it was worth the trip - (once!) The unpublished history is what I found most interesting.... how pieces of the rock were sawed off, and broken off by tourists and how the rock was broken in two when moved for a recruiting meeting, and cemented back together... all of the docents and National Park personnel were exceptionally well versed, interesting, interactive, and helpful... they made the experience terrific!

Takes like half a second to see this whole park. Don't make this exact spot a destination point, lots more to see around Plymouth. Definitely check out the Harbor, museums, and downtown. Just drive by this and you'll have seen it.
