Large Area. Nice for long walks in the woods but I wouldn't call them hikes. They have bridal trails too. I wish the website and literature was more informative.

I love Myles Standish, I am one of the Meetup members ( Friends of Myles Standish Forest ) . One complaint is they don't clean the bicycle paths in the forest early enough. Also the bike paths are still full of cracks. They did well fixing a lot but alot needs still to be done. Great camping grounds. They are updating the bathrooms last few years. Great job on those guys.

This parks back access trails to adjacent to Camp ground via shoestring road is not in the least bit a good time unless you come out with 6x6 or bigger no joke i am a avid extreme mountain biker who is more then capable of navigsting rough terrain and willimg to push my self to achieve my goals i set in place for me this park in the vicinity of middlelime halfpond jesseup shoestring roads are not at all a fum park ride no mention of extremely changing terrain im example over a loose rock hill straight into a beach yes a beach minus the water sand so loose and thick there i no way two in line wheels can puch thru let alone walk thru short of breaking your ancle yet there are signs saying no unauthorized motor vehicles permitted these trail in this area is something only intended for such vehicles and nothing else this was not fun but more of a battle of a want to survive if i hadn't been in good health i likey would've given up and died in this so called park the sheer instinct to surrvive is what i pushed forward thru as well as my wife waiting for me at the entrance to bring me merely miles back home. In closing do your community a favor and alert people to rapid changing terrain and conserve you trails with dignity amd also imforce the posted soeed limit signs it no supriise the amount of memorials for people dying driving thru this park its sad really who ever the land conservation enforcer is id lacking the ability to maintain trails. Try harder or simply warm poeple thanks for anquish and two sprains .

Whether you're just looking to spend a day enjoying the miles and miles of biking / hiking / equestrian trails, or booking a (wonderfully inexpensive for these days) weekend camping trip, I can't recommend Myles Standish enough. Support our state and national parks, and get out there!
