Nelson Memorial Park

Great spot to take the kids, love to play at the beach, rinse off at the splash pad seasonal and then dry off in the sun as the kids play at the playground. Very helpful that usually there are open bathrooms. Parking can be limited but it's free! There is another dirt parking lot down the street if needed. Watch the tide though, not a lot of beach space when it is high tide.

Can say enough about this park it has the trifecta playground, beach, and splash pad, with cleanish bathrooms. I bring my kids once a week if possible.. always a fun all day outing the my minions, parking is a little tough , but you're patience, you'll catch someone leaving..

This place is jaw dropping beautiful. If you have kids it’s a wonderful spot to picnic and let them run around on the playground.nnPro tip- wait for sunset, if the tide is out the sky and ground reflects off one another and the landscape appears to be a dreamscape.nnHighly recommend taking a moment from your busy life and spending a day to watch the sunset here. Well worth it.
