Nice countryside. Didn't see any elk. Lots of oil well sites. Not very pretty to look at, but makes it easier to drive around the area.

Love this place. So peaceful and beautiful and the elk are awesome to watch. Wish I lived up here.

I have been coming here for 20 years, and I have always, almost always, have had a great time, there are many things to do at the Pigeon if you stay for any amount of time.

My Family has been visiting here since I was a kid. It is pure Nature. Wildlife abounds, lots and lots of hiking trails and back roads to wander down. Quiet places and relaxing sounds of nature abound. The campgrounds are primitive but clean, near the river, well shaded and give a real "in the forest" experience. Nature at it's finest.

Relaxing and beautiful lots of wildlife.Best place to hang out camp, fish, bike, hike, snowshoe, or just take a ride.
