Pierre-Le Gardeur Hospital

My father was in Paliative care and they say they provide support and compassion. Well there was NO support. My Mom was left alone after he passed and all the nurse said was ‘oh he has no more pulse, my condolences’ and she walked away leaving my mom alone. Luckily i arrived and we spent the night with him and not once did they come back to see us. I am disgusted on the staff who work in this department....very disappointed.

I was suffering from an uncontrollable head and neck pain and went to a clinic. The Dr. who examined me gave told me that it was urgent and I should go to the hospital immediately, wrote his findings on a prescription and told me to give at the hospital. They did not care, told me it was a migraine, gave me tylenol, and said I was code 3 and would not be too long and if anything changed to go and see them, After 2 hours the pain escalated, waited to see a nurse for 1 1/2 hours. Again she said nothing she can do and another 2 tylenol. She said my file was already sent and it should not be too long. I arrived at 4 pm. At 2 am, I was in unbearable pain. I saw the nurse, who told me to wait for another evaluation 1/2 later still no one. I went to the admissions and ask how long before I see a Dr. He told me my file was still a the triage. I told him that If I could not see a Dr. shortly I would leave and he said ok you can leave. I asked for my hospital card back and as well the Dr's note and I called someone to pick me up because at that point was no longer to walk let alone drive. I went home for a few hours to rest and went elsewhere. Last year I spent 24 hour at this same hospital with my 82 yr old mom. Despite me asking several times when she would see the Dr and getting an answer, we don't really know, 24 hrs later I was told they forgot about her????seriously. sta

Go away ! This place should close doors. Been waiting 11h for my kid(5years old) to see a doctor. Personal does not care... You are a transaction with an id in this place If you care about your health GO AWAY!!!!

Horrible experience, waited 6 hours to see a nurse at triage and was told that it would be at least 12 hours before I see a doctor... Was treated like a second class citizen because I wasn't French. Will never go to this crappy hospital again. I left and went to the Royal Victoria hospital and was treated there like a human being and had all tests done under 2 hours.

My cousin has been waiting to be checked out since approximately 8 at night, it is now 6:41 in the morning and she's in a more worse condition then she was last night. The doctor that checked her said he'd be back in an hour and has still not given her any results, avoid this hospital at all costs the only way you'll ever get checked is if you're either gravely injured or have a tiny cold and even at that you'll probably still have to wait hours on end. It's a shame that this is what my money gets, slow aid and delayed results.
