Piero's Pizza

Placed an order today just after 12pmthe 2 can dine special .Requested thick crust on the pizzas which is on option when you place an order online or calling in , received this mess. Completely raw dough on both pizzas and the cheesy bread. Toppings either burnt or undercooked. Called the store and the guy who answered basically told me it was my fault for ordering thick crust. Raised his voice so he could over talk me “””it’s because you ordered thick crust, we always have trouble making those pizzas and you shouldn’t be ordering them then ”. I suggested maybe they take that option off the menu if it’s a known problem and consistent . He said “ok I’ll take it off the menu” and hung up. No offer to remake or even remedy the situation. I’ve been a loyal customer for years , can’t believe I was treated that way.

Just went there for my first time for some slices. Lots of choices, pizza was so good and the guy working was quick and kind. Also the person I went with said they redid the entire place and it looked amazing. 4.44 for 2 slices of good pizza and pop? Can't beat it. I will definitely be back.Food: 5/5

Ordered for delivery. Mistake. Pizza took 1 hr 15 minutes to get delivered. When it got here it was cold and the driver tried to say it was $57 instead of $27. Call to complain and their response is "best I can do is tell you to preheat your oven" then hung up. What has happened to this place? Used to he amazing.Food: 2/5

What can I say! Pizza was not bad, not the best. I remember years ago the service was impeccable. Pizza was delicious…now, it’s just EH! … How I see it, when you make a pizza out of happiness and enjoyment it tastes great. If you just make it just because of greed, and the hell of it, it shows in the lack of your food and the staff. Kindness is free. when my dad RIP had a pizza place late 70’s early 80’s Bondi’s cheapside area, he made sure everyone was happy, and if they weren’t only one complained my dad made a new one and delivered himself to that person with gratitude, he appreciated all his new & old customers… he had empathy with a beautiful heart and it showed in his pizza! My point is… our times are changing, some businesses don’t care of customers and the lack of quality of their products and services. Some are greedy and others aren’t and it shows in their performances, staff and food.

Pizza isn't the same any more as use to be.Sam and the ownerfather are the only one who knew how to make good fresh pizza.But not any more. When they are in the rush,they put so much of chunks tomatoes,and not enough souse, not enough veggies. I truly miss Sam and his way of making good delicious pizza.

Have been a long time customer for many years but probably won't be returning after yet another messed up order that they wouldn't fix. I didn't enjoy the argument I received from the person who took my order incorrectly, nor did I appreciate that their only solution was to offer something free the next time I ordered something. Looking at previous reviews, even if I did attempt to redeem the free garlic bread they offered, it seems unlikely they would honour it. It would seem that they are consistent in blaming the customers for their mix ups, and then pacifiying them by offering them free items that they don't plan to honour.

I’ve been a faithful customer at Pieros, walking in once or twice per week for their 2 slice and a pop deal and 8-12 wings. Amazing service, phenomenal food every time, and such reasonable prices that have barely changed throughout the years! They remember my face and appreciate my loyalty. I’ve been coming to this Pizza joint since 2007, so for 15 years and just live in Wortley on Bruce Street, and have for most of my life. Everyone I’ve ever brought here has become a faithful customer ever since! I usually always get Hawaiian and BBQ wings and they’re always SO GOOD!!! Can’t say enough good things about this place and I’m glad they were doing well enough to move to the bigger location next door because they truly deserve it! Don’t be fooled by any negative reviews- there will always be someone with something negative to say- but majority rules and majority are faithful customers who can’t say enough good things about this joint! Sometimes people have to ask themselves are they good customers? Restaurants have to always be perfect- but sometimes the customers just aren’t good people OR good customers let’s be honest! If only people held themselves to the same standard of perfection they hold businesses to! Maybe then they’d gain some understanding and humility! If you’re in the neighbourhood or not- Pieros is the best place to stop in for a slice or wings! They don’t disappoint!! Parking: Easy and unlimited parking- can just run right in.

First time customer. Order took almost 2 hours to arrive and everything was cold, and the pizza box 2 pizzas in one box was crushed when the driver handed over to us. One pizza had the correct toppings , the second one didn’t. Our meat lovers pizza had veggies on it and some of the meats were charred beyond recognition. When I called, I was offered a complimentary bread for my next order but I see from other reviews, this is an issue to redeem. Much better places in the city that value timeliness, service, and quality food.

SCAMMERS I go to this place all the time. They’re usually great, cheap food great people. But 18 dollars for a personal pizza no drinks or sides is insane. I used to love this place but they are ripping people off.

A great spot for a slice of pizza and a pop. Generous portions. I am personally not a fan of their dipping sauces. Ordered delivery once during a busy sporting event and received someone else's order. The restaurant was not able to get another delivery out to bring the correct order but they made sure to make it right. I can appreciate a business that is willing to correct their mistakes and put the customer first.
