Pick 'n Save

I'm enjoying the recent facelift. It's much easier to find products in this large store now. They have a great produce department with many organic choices. Flower dept. has good value.

Today I was not a happy shopper. I realize that the store is going through a major remodel, but I don't think I like what I am seeing. For example, the non-grocery items seem to be more of a focal point now. They are right in the middle of the store. So many of the grocery sections have been shortened. In the syrup section there was no longer Log Cabin regular, only lite! The section is half as big as it used to be. That's just one example, I found several more items to be similar as I shopped. I will have to wait and see if I will continue to shop here or go elsewhere.

Here's the thing...I go to this location only because it's close to my house. I'm considering just driving to another location because of the service and selection. are they understaffed? the shelves are always empty. the staff is less than personable. checkers dont even acknowledge me when in their line. not a simple hi? They don't even look like they even want to be there. 1 line open with 5 or 6 people deep and 5 employees chit chatting amongst each other at the service desk, seriously? tonight was not the first time I have had problems here.

Crazy today. They are moving everything around. Fun trying to find things. Guess they are trying to make it better. We will see.

The store has been recently remodeled and the place looks great. The staff are always helpful as well.
