I stopped by for bread on the way home and walked out with 4 bags for only $80, which included a $10 personal pizza that was better than anything I could have made, and a loaf of Crusty French to help finish the hummus in my fridge. I also treated myself to coffee, ice cream, and chips. Would highly recommend!
This is always a great place to go for your Italian cooking and baking needs. Everything is fresh and and really good. If you don't want to cook, the they have a nice variety of pre-cooked food and meals. You also can visit the wine area to pair with your meal.
Im dying for the bakery products. The quality is the best they are not too sweet like other bakeries. The icecream and foods are awesome, as well. Its a bit pricy, though
Love Piazzo De Nardi! It's a bakery, a wine store, fresh butchered meat, poultry, fish, home cooked dinner, deli sandwiches, salads, and gelato to take home. The biggest little grocery store in Winnipeg all with old world charm. Check it out!

UPDATE! Added one more star, after visiting “De Nardi” a few more times… no bad smell. Thanks Ordered a "red velvet" cake. awesome cake, all the guests were delighted, fresh and beautifully decorated. Taking off one star because of the smell in the store. When picking up the order, the store smells unfresh and unpleasant.
We are posting a review to say how excellent the service was when we placed our pick-up order, particularly with Antonio’s assistance. It is rare to find such a consciousness person who understood how important it was for us to get our order on time for a special family occasion we were hosting. When we placed our order he made us feel like we were in good hands. You are fortunate to have such a “people person” as part of your team. We love your fine store, excellent products and your welcoming staff.
