Pho Xpress

We ordered takeout through Skip, but all of the meals came with Cilantro on them, which was not mentioned in the menu descriptions. We had to spend time taking every little piece off. If you don't like Cilantro don't order from here or make sure and ask for no Cilantro. The crispy shrimp wontons were pretty good.

Nice restaurant that’s close to home with very reasonable hours. Food was hot and fresh but lacked in that Asian-sensation flavour you get at most other places. I’m sure they have a super-killer dish on the menu but I didn’t order it. Satay Beef was okay, green onion cakes were delicious but far greasier than optimal and the dumplings lacked flavour. I’d go again over McDonlad’s but only if it’s Sunday and other Vietnamese options are out of the question.

This place is hit and miss everytime. Sometimes the food is decently okay'ish and sometimes it had probably been sitting under a heat lamp for a few days, maybe microwaved? The new servers actually have some manners and actually came back to the table! A few times! So it's getting better! Kitchen staff look like they want to commit suicide though. Screaming kids and sweltering heat while you have spicy soup, why have a/c in a restaurant when you can make customers hate it in there instead?

Good atmosphere, friendly staff. Enjoyed all of the food except the green onion cake was very dry. Would recommend. Will be back soon.

Was just reading reviews for pho and remember coming here a few times several years ago when it first opened. We go out for pho at least once a week and have tried many different places. The pho here was ok but I vividly remember asking the manager there if he could adjust the temperature as we felt cold. We were the only ones in the restaurant but the manager, who was leaning on the counter turned his head to look at the thermostat, said “sir, it’s 72 degrees in here” and without moving, simply smiled as if I was being ridiculous. We left without ordering and haven’t been back since. I calculated that we’ve happily spent around $10,000 on pho since then. None of it has been spent at any pho x press location. The customer may not always be right but we certainly decide where to spend our money.

I’ve ordered ginger beef with noodles in brown souse instead of the rice. Ginger beef was hard as a rock, over salted, noodles chewy, dry, with strange smell. I left my plate, shorted by 17$. Very poor customer service as well.

Great food, fantastic portions. Love this place. Can't find a better Vietnamese restaurant anywhere close to here. The service is friendly and the food comes out hot and quick.

Consistently inconsistent, both food and service. I am off of work at 8 and I am usually here around 830-840 to pick up food. But the scene I included in my photo is the usual for me. Often they are closed well before their posted times. I call right when I leave to give them as much notice as possible but they do not answer the phone. I have seen them not answer the phone for a large number people while I was in the restaurant, so it seems to be very much arbitrary whether or not I'm going to be getting my food or whether they'll even be open. Additionally the food is fine enough, the wait is always long in comparison to other pho places hence the call ahead the food is okay but don't ever get the vermicelli chicken as it's always bad. Overall, the service is terrible, the hours are made up, and the food is less than mediocre. I have left a message to speak with the management but have yet to hear back. I am very disappointed at the amount of times that my time has been wasted.

Smallest portions ever!! Quite expensive for what you get and my pho didn’t even come with bean sprouts, mint leaves or a lime…

We order here once a month or so. Tonight though was like super over the top good! Beef satay extra meat and two chicken noodle with an order of shrimp salad rolls. Everything was fresh and so flavourful! It was just what we wanted. We would have picked up but Skip wasn’t allowing us to pickup at the Hampton location.
