Pho Van Vietnamese Noodle House

Good experience, customer service was very good. Relatable and genuine. The broth was good too, good portions for okay prices. Got an extra large and it filled me up. It’s good to have on a cold day to warm you up.

Spacious dining and great flavours at Pho Van in Harvest Hills. The staff can speak both Vietnamese and Cantonese and have a fun laid back personality- this place seems to be a local patron favorite. Prices I noticed are up close to 6% compared to a menu image from 6 months ago, inflation woes continue. I got the spicy grilled chicken Banh Mi and it hit the spot, flavors and baguette were on point. Those pho prices are cringe to me tho at $14/$17 each.

Clean, fast, taste good If you need to take off within a reasonable time. This place is recommended. We called 5min before arrival, when we got there only waited 2-5min for our food. 3 people Ps, don’t know why I want to mention this… the washroom is extremely clean as well.

The best Pho in Calgary! The Satay beef soup is unreal. My wife loves the vermicelli. Always a great experience, friendly service, the food comes fast. You won’t be disappointed!

First of all, great service, there was tea at the table before we even noticed, and everything was well timed. The food was good, but unlike many Vietnamese places with similar prices the serving sizes were not too big for a meal, just right in fact. So not as much value, but also the fish sauce seemed to be watered down. It was pretty bland, and I ended up soaking my dish to get the same flavor I expected. Parking: Parking is a struggle, it's a very tight lot, so come a little early or scout a backup lot nearby.

A clean friendly spot for Viet food. Went for the $14.50 vermicelli with grill pork and spring roll. The most interesting part I found was how thinly and organized the meat sliced were. Food here was pretty good and well worth the amount to quality. Although you may find a few cheaper places to this, this is still a pretty good spot to go to overall. For spring roll, there is a meat and vege option.

This is an incredible and authentic restaurant with the most delightful owner. We were traveling through Calgary on vacation and we were incredibly impressed with the food. The first things we had were the grilled chicken and grilled pork chop rice dishes. They use high quality white rice and the meats are both seasoned and grilled to perfection. We then had their beef bánh mì which was outstanding. Bread perfectly warmed crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a refreshing combination of cucumber, pickled carrots and cilantro along with delicious grilled beef. Beef was well seasoned and tender. We enjoyed a side of their spring rolls which were delicious. I’m not sure how we managed to find the room but we also had some fried rice and it was spectacular. It had so much flavor and it was both light but complex. Definitely not your typical fried rice. We were chatting with the owner and she is so friendly. Throughout our conversation we could tell she is passionate about cooking and the quality of the meal we had spoke volumes. A lot of the sauces are made in-house and she actively takes part in the prep work and cooking. The neighboring table was a previous regular who moved out of the area yet travelled back to specifically to have a meal here. I can understand this as I now want to plan for layovers at YYC so we can at least grab a bite here. This ranks as one of the best meals we have had.

Pho Van has KO'd my previous fave and become our #1 place for Viet delivery. I have never eaten in. The ingredients are very fresh and the Bun has the perfect ratio of meat/noodle/produce. The spring rolls are hot, crispy and compact and don't get mushy. I love the grilled beef short ribs and egg on rice and the pho. But, I've actually started experimenting more with ordering because so far anything I've tried has been so good.

This Pho Satè tasted pretty good! Not too spicy, but satisfying. The smiling servers are an added bonus to my visit. I'd go back for sure

The customer service here was absolutely amazing. Their food is delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out if you love vietnamese food. Recommend trying their vietnamese subs.
