Highly recommend #1000 "Combined 7 Types of Beef on the Dish." You will appreciate its variety and taste. Although it is pricey, it is worthy of trying because it may have become a lost art. It is rarely available in the Greater Toronto Area. This may be also the case in Vancouver. It was found available long time ago in Lethbridge, Alberta! Nice beef is used. The texture is rich. The special sauce is also nicely prepared, though some customers may find it too strong. The attendants are very friendly.
Located in the plaza area outside Vaughan Mills close to the Chuck E Cheese side. Nice staff. Extensive menu. Decent decor. Lots of seating. The soup base for the pho is oily. The meat in the rice dish is on the small side. The rolls with shrimp are good. Overall only ok.
The food is not hot enough, portions were so bad, my mom got a small I got a medium pho and yet my pho amount was the same amount as a small. The soup was only luke warm, the restaurant had over half of their lights off, the meat portion was so little I only had two meat pieces. The soup was also so bad that I would rather drink the cold tea then the soup. The service however, was good and food arrived quick. I had the spring rolls and it was okay.
An early go-to pho spot in Vaughan is Pho Mi 99 because they are so convenient for takeout. Fast forward a year, we finally dropped by to dine-in. It's pretty much a family-run food hall, with trolleys of prepared dishes coming from the kitchen within minutes of ordering. Their well-done beef rice noodle soup had a decent pho broth base. It's a little on the oily side but the savoury soup taste that you want is there. The waitress was quite considerate, bringing scissors & a plastic bowl for the lil one w/o us asking plus one star!. The grilled pork and spring roll on vermicelli was also on point. A bit skimpy on the grilled meat but the golden spring roll is very crispy with a thick batter that helps fill up your appetite. We thought perhaps they were having a slow evening with only 2 tables occupied in the large dining area when we arrived. However 20 minutes later, the place was pretty much packed to my surprise. Pho Mi 99 is a local favourite for cheap authentic Vietnamese eats.
The best Vietnamese restaurant I have ever had, really similar to asia style. The price is reasonable. Even though the service is not the best, I am here for the food.Food: 5/5
Business hours show opening at 10am, when we arrived at 10:30am, this place was dark and no one greeted us. We yelled hello anyone there? And finally someone greeted us and set us down. Food wise, the soup is hot but the noodles weee overcook and too soft, we suspect it may be leftovers from last night. The only highlight is the Traditional Vietnamese iced coffee. It taste really good!
Great pho and spring rolls. Great customer service. Great restaurant overall.
Food was okay, a little too salty. The bun bo hue didn't have a lot of meat, you could taste the artificial seasoning of the broth. Vegetables were fresh. The pho broth was good. Overall, meat portions are small. Service was fast Very old school dining experience.
The worst Pho restaurant I’ve ever experience. Staffs are not nice. Definitely NOT COMING BACK. Came in last night at exactly 9pm and one of the staffs just gave us a dirty look. They gave us food that are not cooked properly why? bc you’re in a rush to close? Lol it tasted nothing. We really had to spit the beef out bc it was so hard to chew and didn’t even eat the whole thing. It’s gross and just paid for it. Y’all could’ve just let us go if you’re closing soon instead of giving us FOOD that was not cooked and not worth paying for. Plus, update your open and closing time so people know and fix your staffs attitude.
Went there for lunch. Once I was seated, they kept ignoring me. Eventually I waved one of the servers over and ordered my soup. After that I was completely ignored like I wasn't there. People who came in after me got their meals and left and I was still waiting for my soup. Eventually I yelled out that I'm still waiting for my soup. I should've just got up and left but the server rushed over w my soup and said she forgot all about me. Never going there again.
