Great food. Amazing service! Very authentic and friendly. Felt like I was back in North Viet. Their raw beef Pho was fantastic. Good size. The owner came to greet us. She was so nice and told us her story. She’s so proud of her restaurant and with good reason. Come and try it out. Judge for yourself.
I have tried really hard to find a place where I can have Vietnamese food with original Vietnamese flavors, and eventually I found one which match my difficult demands. We ordered all the significant dishes like Bun Bo Hue, Pho and Com Tam, they all have amazing tastes. The owner of Ly Quoc Su Restaurant is super friendly and hospitable. Staffs are also very friendly and well taken care of customer’s need. Someone said the price is high but to me for this service and food quality, the price’s itself worth everything. Highly recommended when you travel to Montreal.

You are paying more for the decor and ambiance here than the quality in their dishes. The "Build your own Pho" is a gimmick. Nothing different than ordering a specific bowl option from any other Pho resto. There are only 3 meat options which you can only choose 1 type, 1 size bowl, and the "special" is just your choice of any of the 3 meats. The meat quality was great and fresh. I wished they mentioned which kind of sauce was to accompany the spring rolls. Had fish sauce instead of the usual peanut sauce. Which was received a few minutes after the bowl of Pho instead of before; supposed to be an entree
The most incredible pho I’ve ever experienced! The soup is expertly crafted without any noticeable MSG flavor, boasts a generous portion of meat and noodles, and exudes fantastic vibes. And let’s not forget the incredibly friendly service. With entrees priced at $18 - $20, it’s an exceptionally reasonable deal!Food: 5/5

Excellent vietnamese restaurant in the heart of downtown. As many others wrote, one of the best Pho you can order in the city - I would highly recommend taking any one of their soup options. What stands out the most is the extremely quick and efficient service. It's rare to find nowadays, but they seem to put a lot of care to each table. If you really wanted to, you can be in and out in less than 30 minutes.
Very good Pho in general, except the Vegetarian Pho which has lots of veggie & tofu but very little favor. Definitely, it needs more seasonings. Veggie Egg Rolls tasted very good. Beef Pho has all the classic tastes. Service was excellent, very attentive. Overall, it's a good choice.Food: 4/5
