Being a fan of Vietnamese cuisine, I often explore new restaurants. By chance, I discovered Pho Anh on Google Maps and I visited with my partner. From the moment we stepped in, everything was fantastic. Nice table at the terrace, every dish I ordered was absolutely delightful, and I relished the flavors in each bite. Also the dessert was standout; I ordered ice cream accompanied by coconut flakes and peanuts to enjoy at home, and it was truly good. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an authentic Vietnamese dining experience. P.S. Unfortunately, I forgot to capture a picture of the special Pho I ordered.
This is by far the tastiest Vietnamese food in Montréal - and I've tried lots! I got a grilled pork and meatball vermicelli plate upon staff recommendation and it was absolutely delicious, every bite was pure bliss. Will definitely be back to try everything on the menu.Food: 5/5
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Vietnamese restaurant in Montreal, and I can confidently say that it exceeded all my expectations. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. To begin with, their iced coffee is an absolute delight. The rich, bold flavor and smooth texture were a perfect way to start the meal. It's clear that they pay careful attention to every detail, even something as simple as a beverage. One of the standout aspects of the restaurant is the owner, Anh. A truly charming and hospitable individual, Anh went out of his way to ensure that my dining experience was memorable. His warm demeanor and genuine care for his customers added a personal touch that is often hard to come by in dining establishments. The menu boasts a variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes, each bursting with incredible flavors and expertly prepared. It's evident that the chefs take immense pride in their craft, as every dish that arrived at the table was a work of art. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both intimate dinners and gatherings with friends. The attention to detail in the decor adds to the overall pleasant atmosphere. In conclusion, this Vietnamese restaurant in Montreal deserves every bit of praise. From the delectable food to the outstanding service, it's an experience that I wholeheartedly recommend. I'll definitely be returning to indulge in their offerings and bask in the warm hospitality of Anh and his team. Five stars without a doubt.
Love the pho so much. It is a northern style pho, as in Hanoi style instead of more common Saigon style. Broth is clean and clear, refreshing! Mr Anh cooked the broth for 72 hours with all super fresh ingredients . Service is impeccable. We are super happy.
The best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve ever visited in my life! The food was really delicious and the ingredients were so fresh and nice. You should try beef salads. I’ve never been to Vietnam before, but the food gave me real Vietnamese vibes. We literally cleaned all the dishes!Food: 5/5
The most delicious Vietnamese food that I have ever tried! Matched with exceptional, second to none service from the owner. You can really see the passion in his cooking. He delivers an authentic taste and cares deeply that you enjoy the food how it's meant to be enjoyed. We also highly recommend A7! Would give it 100/100 if possible With love from Mrs and Mr Cooper
Very authentic restaurant coming from a Vietnamese picky eater. The flavors brought me back to Hanoi where pho’s broth is so simple yet delicate. Simple and cozy decor, very warm and attentive service. I will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a real Vietnamese restaurantRecommended dishes
Small restaurant on lower Saint Denis. Dishes felt very homemade, flavourful and service was on point. Would definitely recommend their bun bo hue and pho. Prices were reasonable considering the location. Will have to come back and try their other dishes.Food: 5/5
Place was cozy in the basement area…. Location is in the center of many restaurant and busy street. Food was good a typical Vietnamese pho restaurant but overall good. Nice decorations was pretty good. Service was okayFood: 4/5
Finally I found a restaurant that serves the pickled garlic with beef pho, which is the authentic way to eat beef pho in Hanoi. I love that the broth is very clear and delicate. The star of our dinner however is the Bún chả bbq pork vermicelli! It tastes amazing and is the best one I can find here in Montreal! The flavor is really close to what you can get in Hanoi even! Just a note to ask for no spicy when you order because they put hot sauce in it by default which is uncommon.
