Pho Bo Saigon

Come here all the time when I just want a bowl of pho. The house special of course, and that’s goes the same for the vermicelli house special as well. The rice dish with chicken and pork is also good. And their Bun Bo hue meting B16. The spring rolls can be better if served with fish sauce instead of their new sauce that the dish is served with now. Then their avocado smoothie is also a go to drink if anyone is looking something more sweet and refreshing. It’s made of avocado and condensed milk.

PHO REVIEW: 3.5/5 stars. Broth was good, light, clear, but complex. Meat was cooked well too. Portion size was adequate. -1 star for slow service - I ordered a coke, only for it to arrive AFTER my meal was over. Normally, you get tea first, then the meal comes. My tea arrived alongside my meal, 10 mins after I ordered. My meal took nearly 10 minutes for 1 bowl of pho. -0.5 star for mismatched utensils. They gave me a sharp edged square chopstick with a rounded circular one. The straw from my drink was sealed on one end. Decent value, but there are better places for pho.

The food flavours were ok, at least on the dishes we had, but the dishes relied heavily on the carb components vermicelli, rice and skimped on the meats and ad ons. To a disappointing degree. Many of the discriptions of the dishes ordered online didn't mention much in the way of what composed the dishes. I'm not disparaging the food, it just was average. As you see in the photo, no real veggies or other flavour add ons, had to use the condiments provided with my order of pho, which too was more noodles than beef or tripe

Food was delicious, staff were friendly. One of the orders had more onions than chicken, not sure if that's how it is but nevertheless it was tasty.

Don't get bubble tea here ... $5.65 total for a small 14oz drink made of mostly powders and not tapioca balls ... whatever this brown mush is. It also tasted like it had a powdery residue. Also, hand for reference of how small it was. I'm going back to my regular place .. serves me right for trying new places though eh ..

DO NOT COME HERE if I could give a review with 0 stars I would. I came today & ordered 3 XL beef noodle soups & asked for 6 fresh red peppers. The lady said they don't give those for free every other pho place adds it automatically and charged me $1.00 fine. I was charged tax which again is perfect fine no issues. When I asked for the receipt she told me to take a picture of the order slip that they use for the kitchen she wouldn't give me the itemized receipt because she didn't want to punch in my order into the cash register & when I refused to take the photo she was upset she has to provide me with a real receipt. When she was packing up my food she asked how many chopstick I required I told her 6 she said she's only giving me 3 and some spoons. I said no I need 6 because it's to feed 6 people she kept arguing with me telling me no she won't give it to me. Before she was done package all of my food I checked the container because it was really small it was half of a square container. I advised I ordered 3 XL this is not even half a portion she argued saying it is XL. I asked for my money back and for them to keep the food because it was a rip off. All of the side ingredients they put them in 2 glade ziplock bags. The staff was rude, the service was horrendous & I'd never ever even on my death bed eat at this restaurant or recommend it. There were other guests in the restaurant and the staff was full blown arguing with me from across the restaurant so everyone knew what was going on. It was embarassing on top of it all. When I went for the first time 5 years ago it was the total opposite. I went to a location by my house ordered the exact same food and got 3 square containers of the beef and noodles, 6 containers of broth, 5 fresh peppers for free , the amount of chopsticks I requested without attitude or arguing for the same price.

came here out of convenience since we live close by. after dining, i would much rather drive an hour out of our way to receive the same mediocre quality of food if it meant we didn’t have to experience the poor poor service we experienced. don’t waste your time. there’s plenty of pho places in brampton that are much better.

The server was wearing a shirt that said “yes im ignoring you”. It was funny at first until we realized how bad the service truly was. Food was terrible, got a grilled porkchop and you can tel the grilled hasn’t been cleaned due the flavour. Not worth it.

There was hair in my food and she refused to make a new one because they were closing in 30 mins. We had made it to the restaurant 1 hour before closing and they asked us if we’re getting take out and we asked if it’s okay to dine in they said sure but kicked us out midway and said we close at 9:30pm when online it says 10pm. The food tasted great but terrible customer service and not very clean.

Found a sticker on a pepper in our sweet and sour chicken. Ordered, lemon grass beef and had few pieces of beef with mostly onions in my plate. Worst Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to.
