Bao't Time

I placed a pick up order. When I went to pick up my order the restaurant didn’t look very clean and there were flies everywhere. The lady at the front was nice tho. I had roasted beef Bao which didn’t taste good. I also had chicken katsu Bao which tasted okay. Overall I will not return since my experience wasn’t pleasant but the prices were good. I paid 20$ for 4 Baos through Ubereats pick up with tax.

The crackling pork belly bao was surprisingly good. I was grabbing pho for my partner and picked this up for myself. Pleasantly surprised. The pork belly is juicy and the crackling parts on the ends are nicely done. Bao could maybe be a bit fluffier, but solid nonetheless. Light, easygoing bao.

Just got delivery from this restaurant. We ordered pork bao, beef bhan mi, chicken bao and custard buns. The beef bao was made with stale bread. But what was alarming was that our chicken bao was RAW. Not undercooked, not just a bit pink. Completely. Raw. Don’t risk it. Goodness knows what their food handling methods are when they will send out raw chicken. If I get sick I took a bite I will update.

I ordered scallop siu mai on ritual and i came early to pick it up and the lady told me it wasnt ready yet which is fine i was early. I came back and the lady noticed she made the wrong item. She made shrimp siu mai instead of scallop, so she offered to refund me and give me the shrimp. She was very rude and short with me, she wasnt clear if she was making me the scallop since she made the wrong one. So i checked my box and asked why i got the shrimp i thought she was making me a scallop so she proceeds to scold me like im in the wrong, which i wasnt since i wasnt the one who cooked the wrong order. Dont blame the customer for your mistakes I didnt ask for a refund i wanted the right order. So when i told her i didnt see a refund she yelled at me again saying she is very busy helping the one customer but she didnt want to help me even though she made me the wrong item. How is that fair ? Im just really upset how the owner treated me and talked to me that way so i wont be returning. Jennifer is always nice, helpful and patient
