Since Ian Phillips repaired my Haitus hernia 11 months ago , my quality of life has dropped drastically ... I am well aware we are all human and make mistakes. If you make a mistake you need to fix it. Since his surgery I have been unable to swallow most foods. Food now gets stuck in my throat, which causes my chest and left arm to go numb for hours on end. He is well aware of these complications, and not only has he refused to investigate and fix the mistake he made. He also has refused to refer me to someone else who can fix the mistake he made on my body. I have starting blending all foods in an attempt to live a normal. Also I am out THOUSANDS of dollars in earnings as I am unable to work when it gets very bad. Everyone makes mistake. But he made his on my body and has refused to fix it. Couldn't have had a worse experience.

Dr. Phillips performed a Carpal Tunnel Laparoscopic procedure this past Monday. He was informative and engaging throughout. He described in detail what he was going to do and then allowed me to watch on the video display as he completed the procedure. I was intrigued while watching him work inside my arm (not for the weak of heart). I drove home from the procedure feeling almost normal. I took Tuesday off to recover but found myself engaged in my home office working on my computer and forgot all about my hand. Wednesday I was back a t work visiting customers with no pain unless I tried to pick up heavy objects, which Dr. Phillips told me not to do. This procedure is almost painless, quickly recovered from and I would recommend Dr. Phillips as an accomplished and gifted surgeon. It is now Wednesday evening and I am writing this from my hotel room after working all day wondering what all the fuss was about. This is less painful than a dentist filling. Oh I did have to stop at a pharmacy to get a new band aid even though the stitches have dissolved and the small puncture in my hand appears to be almost healed. Do yourself a favor, do not let anyone do the old fashioned wrist to elbow slice method of Carpal Tunnel surgery. Specify Dr. Phillips for your Carpal Tunnel referral.
