Abysymal is right. I paid $200 for my body scan. I am concerned because of the system still have no diagnosis about a spot on my face. I waited for the results, after reminding and reminding that I want the results, I was told that there is nothing to be concerned about. When I mentioned the spot on my face, I was told that the doctor would do a biopsy t my request . I had read up about him and learned that he is not even a dermatologist...There were words but I would not subject myself to any more dishonesty.
Truly abysmal administration. Disorganized and prideful. I'm happy to report that when I arrive today for my appointment I was informed that the office will be closing in January. This is a good day for healthcare. Hopefully Dr MacPhee starts a new practice without the individuals who elicited so much negative feedback for the office.
The woman on the front desk is most insulting and rude. One would expect a sympathetic and courteous manner especially in a physician's office, but unfortunately these qualities are absent from her character. After being subjected to her anger and arrogance, one leaves belittled and humiliated. Obviously an ill-tempered woman ill-suited to welcome and to help patients.
I have had very positive experiences with Dr. Ian MacPhee. As a new patient, I was expecting to have to self advocate and persuade my physician to take my concerns seriously, and was pleasantly surprised by Dr. MacPhee's attentiveness, listening skills, and support in exploring my concerns further and providing referrals.
I have always had a positive experience. I like that he doesn’t mind that I’ve consulted Dr Google before visits.
Worst office ever! Don't count on them to fax anything in time or EVER. They can't even answer a phone.
