This library has a good-sized children's area that is good for young children and families. It also offers many activities; HOWEVER, the library requires registration for almost all activities in advance, limits participaton to a very small number and penalizes you if you are unable to attend. This may make some sense for specialized classes with limited expensive materials, but not for baby and toddler storytimes! This is the only library I have encountered who does not allow drop-in attendance for such activities. Babies and toddlers rarely keep a consistent schedule as their sleep needs change rapidly. Useless activities to us and feels very exclusionary. This keeps us away from the library, which is very unfortunate. Wish they would change their ridiculous policies. I certainly don't want to get scolded for daring to show up without a reservation.

Two levels, great selection, easy to use and super fast wifi(can connect automatically without silly passwords!). 3 very nice private study rooms downstairs and they have a bunch of self check out machines. Staff is pretty great as well. One of my favorite libraries in the system, right up there with New Berlin's.
