Brookfield Public Library

Pretty good spot to study. I did most of my board exam studies here and for the most part it is quiet. Occasional noise from a crying baby or discussion from adult reference desk but it's negligible for the most part. Study rooms are readily available and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

I love it here! They have study rooms that I used thru college, outside area for kids to run! I also always bring my son here to read all the time!

Computers crash every time. Don't work on Microsoft word here. Every time you save, it freezes and you lose all work. Librarians are so lazy.

Okay so here are three visits to the library: 1, im checking out at the self checkout and the machine won't let me check out any movies. I bring them to the front and the lady says one is rated R. But all the others are pg13 so that made no sense and she said it was because there was a block on my account because they had found DVDs in the book drop -_- Bonus, my account has blocks still lfoe some reason and i can't place holds 2, the self checkout won't let me check anything out again, and the guy says it's because no one under 18 can check out anything from the adult section without going up to the desk. (Which is a pain) and he shrugs off his redicoulous rule. 3, im about to check out and I see this kid go from picking up a bunch of adult section movies and go check them out at the self checkout and is successful . -_- just curious I go and try to check out something and it denies me -_-. So I have to go up front every time now which is the most rediculous bullcrap I've ever heard in my entire life. Would not recommend going to this library as the librarians are so dihonest about their policies. Their is obviously some kind of block on my card that they refuse to do anything about and won't tell me the situation.

You can find anything here very easily. There are selections of books,movies,and ebooks for every type of reader.
