Sold me a Guinea filled with lice! Didn’t even let me hold him before purchase, I get home and check and he’s covered in Guinea pig lice. They made me refund him, and I get him back in a few days once the covered treatment is done. Pets are not meant to be discarded. Please check for bugs in Abbotsford BC, I didn’t want bugs included with my Guinea pig!
Very nice pet store. I just wish there were cats for me to see.
I'm usually looking for aquarium stuff, but this PetSmart isn't it. My main problem is the treatment of the betta fish. They're pricey for what they are- sick, stressed, ABUSED fish. Putting betta fish in tiny cups for hours is horrific. Do you not wonder why they sell badly? People want to support stores that treat their fish well. Looking at other reviews from fish keepers, it seems this issue has been unaddressed for a long time, which is why I'm not holding back with this one. Also, their aquarium supplies are not of the best quality. If you want good supplies and healthy fish, go to a dedicated aquatics store.nnAnd I believe this is the PetSmart that has cats for adoption- the last time I came here, I saw one singular, sad cat there, and it was in a small metal cage with no blankets, no toys, literally nothing but a cold metal floor. Cat jail. Despicable on the store's part. Please, adopt from a good shelter.
I have been going here for years and today I finally had enough the girl at the till couldnt get the price right and said I can go ask someone else so I took a picture and went back to the till where she again says I'm wrong so I said forget it return it all and as I do the manager comes by I proceed to tell her and she says no that's the price he is correct you can change it for him. To which I replied it's fine I spend over 2500 a year here I'll just go to another store from now on. What a joke.
