I've taken my yorkie puppy to get groomed at this location for a total of 4 times. Each time I went the experience was worse . My very first groom was done with Cecilia which we fell in love with so we continued. 2nd time we booked with her as well however had someone different complete the groom. We were super happy but spoke with Cecilia who reassured us next time it would be her as he is a yorkie and a.little tricky. The 3rd time was 2 days before Christmas once again we booked with Cecilia after 3:30 hrs of waiting we got a fully shaved dog given to us not wjat we asked for manager named Sara came out and apologized for the misunderstanding as nothing was written in the file she gave us a free groom. We went back today and asked for only a sanity shave and a cute yorkie face as the rest of his body hair was still short from last haircut. We got our dog back with NO sanity shave and a horrible choppy cut. I put up a picture of the area that should have been shaved .We will not be returning to petsmart again. Oh and once again we booked with Cecilia but got another person. Your location has poor communication and your groomers are not trained. Take away the option to pick a groomer as that is false .
Please refrain from bringing your dog to this grooming location. Despite being promised a grooming time frame of 3-4 hours, they called me 1.5 hours early, stating that my puppy had injured himself while crated. I explicitly requested grooming, not crating. When discussing the matter with the manager, they offered a refund for the injuries if I took my dog to the vet. However, the groomer insisted on crating my dog. What if I had not agreed to crate my dog?
What can i say, the pets bring in a lot of happy faces in there and it feels rewarding to just be there.
Do not recommend at all for any grooming services. I brought my 4 month old puppy in for a puppy bath and trim with the fall package upgrade, this was his 2nd trim with pet smart, but first one at this location. I asked the groomer to only trim down the hair under his eyes, his beard, bum and paws, but the groomer rushed us out and I feel she did not listen to what we wanted done.nnWhen I picked him up, his entire body had been scissor trimmed down, and was choppy and uneven. You could see the scissor lines in his fur all over his body, nothing was blended and each of his legs/paws were cut to a different length, paws not even even cut around the nails or rounded. It looked sloppy and rushed, which I do not expect from a $72 puppy trim.nnWhen I called to complain, the groomer told me I should have booked for a full haircut, which made me feel like she did not listen to what I initially asked for, or my concerns about the cut, as we only asked for a trim on necessary areas since his adult coat hasn’t grown in yet. We did take him back and the groomer fixed up the cut, but a significant amount of hair was chopped off and is most likely going to grow in unevenly now. I honestly wouldn’t recommend, and we wont be returning for grooming services.
Groomers are inexperienced, untrained, and rude. The first time I came here the groomer had wrecked my dogs nails, cutting one of them past the quick and leaving the rest looking splintered and torn saying “she did the best she could”. I decided to give the store another chance with a different groomer this time. when i first walked in i heard him screaming at someone over the phone at the front desk, and i waited over 30 minutes to finally check in with him only to be spoken to with an unacceptable attitude. not only was he incredibly rude but he didn’t seem like he knew anything about grooming a dog either as the final haircut was choppy and uneven when all i asked for was a simple trim. i do not recommend coming here and i for sure won’t be coming back because it seems like none of these employees here have been properly trained for their profession.
