This is an excellent place to go for anything you need for your fur babies ❤️ or scaley critters! The staff have a wonderfully positive energy and always help with anything you need.

They have excellent staff who can steer you in the right direction. They have lots of ideas on how to go about caring for your pet. It is a big store and they have basically everything you need with the right expertise.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. We’ve been customers to this store for almost a year now. We bought 3 Degus from them since December 2016. During the whole entire year that we’ve had them so far, Petland almost never has their food in stock. Anytime we’ve ever bought their pets, or gave them our phone number to call us when they get food in... they never call us. Just last week we went in to try and get food for our Degus, and we’ve been waiting 3 weeks since the last time we tried (they were out then too and also never bothered to call us after asking for my phone number for the 10th time), they were still out of food. I told one of the employees there that we’ve been waiting for weeks for a call for pet food, because we haven’t had any food for our Degus, and the girl told me “Well, we don’t have food for our degus either”. Do you think that’s my problem?? How dare an employee say that to a customer, trying to guilt trip me. Awful service, a years worth of awful service so far. We finally went to Homes Alive to get our Degus food (they don’t even sell Degus there), and they had some in stock. We will be going to Homes Alive from here on out. They’re the only other place in this city that sells their food. Horrible customer service, very insensitive and guilt trips you, and horrible stock. I highly recommend to avoid this business.

Most of my trips there have been good. I've noticed they usually take good care of their tanks, especially. Unfortunately on my last trip I intended to buy tetras. While I was perusing the tanks I happened to notice their fish had telltale signs of ick. That being said, the tetras were in another section entirely and.i thought they were safe. I came back the next day as they had miscounted the tetras and realized the ick was spreading further. I pointed it out to the person in the tank area and they replied that they knew. I asked if they had quarantined that tank and they said all of the fish tanks are on a singular water pump system, so every disease? Passes through all of the fish tanks. That being said, they had already given me the tetras I needed and I was appalled. There is no way that they should be selling fish exposed to any disease. All of their tanks should've been on lockdown until the problem was taken care of. Unfortunately, my eight tetras ended up getting ick despite my best efforts. I have two left. 48$ down the drain and possibly other people's tanks compromised as well. I can't speak to the rest of their husbandry, though, but in regards to this severe misstep my opinion of them has decreased drastically.

Everything is reasonably priced, the animals are well cared for and there is a huge variety of products to provide food and care for any pets a person could have.
