First thing that got my attention was the huge sign saying that they will not tolerate violence. Violence in a breakfast restaurant? The second thing that got my attention was the hostess saying to our group “If a lineup starts, you’ll have an hour to finish” to which I replied “depends on how fast you guys cook our meals…” The waitress we had was very nice. The food was typical for a breakfast restaurant. I ordered a huge plate with lots of meat! I couldn’t finish it all! The Petinos breakfast plate is the best bang for your buck. The other options were a bit pricey for what you get. I only gave three stars because of not having a warm welcome when entering the restaurant. I don’t expect a red carpet, but at least a smile and not jump right into your rules about eating times…..
Nice and efficient staff I love a place that keeps the condiments full and on the table. Good breakfast. The only minor negative, I heard a few F bombs come from a loud but happy guy in kitchen . I don't mind, but it is a family place.
Went for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. The place was really busy! The waiter was friendly and got us coffee right away. After ordering, we received our food so quick, I was a bit surprised. Our potatoes were a bit cold and I also got my bacon on a separate plate, not sure why. The bacon also tasted a bit weird and cold. I really like the modern look of this Petinos restaurant but was a bit disappointed on the rush of the food. The waiter was nice enough to let us stay after we finished our food so we can hang out for a bit.
I ordered the blueberry pancake and as you can see for almost 18$, I cannot see a lot of blueberries. Very cheap pancake, not very high quality. It is very dry and very tick but not soft and fluffy. I also ordered veggies omelette and as you can see it taste like plastic. Very very low egg quality. I don't recommend the Petinos VSL. I highly suggest to go to Allo Mon Coco, you will get a better quality and quantity. It is my honest review.
friendly staff with great breakfast with very quick service..Their portions were VERY generous and their selection was huge. Really enjoyed their potatoes and their French toast as well as fresh fruits! I love it!Food: 5/5
I went to this location for the second time today and so far my whole experience has been AMAZING! I went for my birthday, yea waiter made me feel special .. I went alone today, service was so great, they checked me often, it was fast, everything on my plate was delicious. A1!!! Hopefully It keeps going this way, I'll definitely come back and bring some friends!!! Thanks for the great service and delicious food! Money well spent!!
I just have to say they have amazing potatoes The rest of the food is pretty ordinary. I live the clear coffee mug Service is excellent And a decent atmosphereFood: 5/5
The restaurant, tables and chairs were very clean, the food was very good. We could also customize our order and the staff were very polite. I liked it and will visit again for sure

Excellent food quality on all our plates 7. Staff is experienced and very helpful walked through menu suggestions and helped with one of our party with reduced mobility. Would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely return. Hard to find good combination of quality and service. I figure signs are there to ensure staff is respected and retained. Unfortunately I have witnessed uncivil behaviour which does end up hurting the front line folks in all professions. Kudos to Petinos St Laurent staff
