Food taste good, but they don’t serve you what you requested. Ordered a Patati Gaston, received an omelette on top of potatoes, 6 curd cheese and a ton of cheddar not part of the plate never came to the table to see if all good or any problems, was hungry so eat it. Oh and the music… are we in a club or a family breakfast place?
I had a morning business meeting and decided to convene it here, a relatively new branch of L'Oeufrier. I'd never been to this chain, so I really had no expectations. The rather innocuous exterior hides a surprisingly large seating area inside, and I was warmly greeted by the friendly hostess. I told her I wished a table for three and she found a great one almost immediately, despite being quite busy. She set the table for three and offered coffee while I waited for my two other colleagues to arrive. During the wait, coffee was immediately offered and my cup replenished frequently throughout our long two hour meeting. Isadora, our server, was both charming and efficient. Truthfully, the three or four servers who filled our coffee cups and deluvered our food were all equally friendly and solicitous. They worked quite efficiently as a team. The dishes that we ordered were all very attractively presented and more than met our expectations. My Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon was delicious, the poached egg yolks being just at the sweet spot, not too runny nor overcooked. The arugula and fruit salads were both very fresh and equally tasty. My colleagues enjoyed their respective egg dishes as much. Needless to say, I would not hesitate to recommend this branch of L'Oeufrier to anyone seeking a hearty breakfast or brunch meal. Parking is free and plentiful, being located in the former Galeries St-Laurent shopping mall. I will definitely return.
Despite seeing some negative reviews, my first time experience at L'Oeufrier was perfect! The staff was welcoming and friendly, we got our coffee, food and the bill at a reasonable time, with all the Sunday brunch rush! The food was excellent, presentation and taste. First time, and definitely not the last time :
L’Oeufrier has become a staple name for a chain brunch hot spot wherever you go there’s probably over 20 locations maybe more now This was our first time at the VSL location, and we did go during a Sunday brunch hour so we knew it would be high in demand. First of all, I believe it was the manager of the location that we were talking to, he was well in charge of his rotations to make sure no one waited too long for a seat, and he was quite friendly and professional. Also the girl who was in charge of our table was very nice as well. We had two breakfast poutine, Ménage à Trois, and Lendemain de Veille which were great. Honestly the entire menu which is really extensive is great, but you should always start your first time with the poutines! The portion sizes of any of the choices you make will be quite substantial even for a large appetite like ours, so value for quantity is incomparable for a casual brunch like here. Feeling extra? Try their smoothies or milkshakes because it’s worth it, but they are rich so make extra room.
Service was good and the food was also good. It was nice to have an egg white option. I enjoyed the fresh fruits.
Extremely pleased with the polite service and delicious French Toast served with a generous amount of fresh fruits. Family run business...made us feel like family. Employees served us with a smile and the owner stopped to ask if we were pleased with our visit. Nicely decorated, very clean and spacious. Would not hesitate to go back again.
Very nice experience. My first time at this restaurant. Very Clean and professional. The owner Sami was extremely friendly he was welcoming and very inviting. I had a waffle with Peanut butte, chocolate, and Banana and it was LIFE. Thank you so much for everything. Highly recommend this location.
Pros: Excellent service. Attentive and friendly waiters. The manager was greeting guests in person and following up on orders. Delicious food. Generous portions of food. Great quality for money Highly recommended
It was so good! The owner came to greet us, he made sure we were comfortable and took extra care of our meals because my friend is severely allergic to gluten. The sausages were perfectly cooked, good portions, fresh coffee. Ok I know its a bit TMI but the bathroom stalls are very private. If you need to do a number 2, go at it! No one will hear on the other side of that wall
Very cute restau. Mostly empty on a Sunday. Service was good but our orders were mixed up, it happens I understand. Friendly staff, we had kids in our group and they were able to be themselves. We were able to have a reserved table for a group.Food: 5/5
