Had an appt to get my dogs groomed at 11 am today and I call to get pushed back the appointment since we have a 45 minute drive to get to Petco in Big Flats. They have groomed my 3 dogs for 2 years never a problem. The girl said it would be fine to push back till 11:30. One of my dogs has a brain tumor and they have to go slow with her since she cannot stand for a long time. Never an issue before today. We were 5 minutes away from the Petco and a girl called said the couldn't do my dog Molly because they changed their policy on dogs with health issues and could no longer groom her. I told the girl we drive 45 minutes and you call when I am almost there. Had I not called to push back the appts no one would have called me about the policy change. What a complete wast of time and gas. Never will get my business again and I have sent many people to Petco grooming since I am a vet tech in PA.

This is the nicest Petco or maybe even pet store I have ever seen. I went in the store right at opening. The aquatics department is extremely clean and all fish and reptiles for sale look extremely healthy and bright. Good selection of saltwater too. All staff looked genuinely concerned for the care of the animals as they did their opening checks. They were friendly to customers and I was asked if I needed help more than once even as staff were very busy. On other visits I met with the dog trainer. She is also extremely caring and down to earth. She was very helpful and patient with my timid dog.

Good staff. Great supply of normal necessities for most. I went to buy live plants for my aquarium and some of the plants they market as aquatic are terrestrial. They will last weeks or maybe a month in water. Was lucky that I researched the plant before it would have died in my aquarium.

A great all encompassing place to shop for your fur-babies. Most of the associates know my babies by name and are always happy to see them. Both my babies took classes with their trainer and we all had a great time.
