Petco Animal Supplies

This is a very nice building to shop in and I love the selection and set up but the service/knowledge is pretty lacking. Two weeks ago we stopped in for the first time for a few fancy guppies and was sold a female beta fish labeled as a guppy. I made the mistake of going back today because I was looking for ghost shrimp and all the tank lights were off making it impossible to shop along with the open boxes of new fish littered everywhere. I finally found a person standing at the checkout and asked if they had any and he just said nope. When asked about the lights being off he told me they are automatic and go off when they add new fish. Thankfully the other pet store in town had what I needed, with the lights on even.

There is awesome toys for dogs and much more. I was treated very politely by a girl working there and she even went into the back to look for a toy that i specifically went there to buy and she found one and brought it out to me. I take my Rosie a Boxer mix. To obedience there. She graduated puppy 1 & puppy 2. Now we are getting ready to do Adult 1. She has learned fast and easy to train thanks to Macy. She is a wonderful trainer. The staff at petco is awesome. Friendly in all parts of the store. But if you want your dog trained. I am glad I picked petco.

This was once my favorite place to buy our gecko supplies but it has gone down hill. Hard to find fresh crickets, boxed or bagged. Also very frustrating trying to get someone to bag some for you. Even their selection of superworms is suffering, many out of date ones. Store is set up weird and stuff is all over the place. Customer service is lacking big time. I miss the very cheery clerks I once delt with. It's very sad to say I may not return for some time.

Didn't buy any fish because the two girls couldn't be bothered with me. -_- Kept on talking while I stood there waiting for them to stop so I could ask for help... when they finally felt good and ready they hardly helped me. Then left me while they went to get stuff... never came back to help so I left. Won't be getting stuff from there unless I have to! You need to get some new employees!
