Beamer's Hardware & TV

I always find the staff completely helpful both in terms of finding what I need and in suggesting issues to watch for when I am doing my own repairs. Just fixed a toilet leak. I thought that it was the hose from the tank to the water supply and it turned out to be the internal flushing fixture which had cracked, likely thanks to the connection to the water supply being way too tight. Beamer's had all the needed parts and they showed me how to adjust the height of the new mechanism. Big city store with little town feel!

Great staff, great store. Much better experience than one of the big box stores. Staff is incredibly helpful, and prices are great.

Beamer’s is a godsend during the COVID shutdown. They are allowed to open but only for orders placed in advance and picked up curb side. Avoid the big box hassle by calling Beamers and picking it up right away. They had what I needed, I didn’t have to wait and it ended up being cheaper that the online big box price!

I can't say enough about this place, Lloyd is a very nice, hard working and knowledgeable man. He spent time helping me and telling me stories about the vintage tools in the window, great mom and pop shop, prices cannot be beat I always support local and will always give this shop my business. I love Beamer's Hardware. They have a surprising selection of stuff, and you can't beat the service -- great sense of humour and knowledgeable about pretty much everything. This might be the last of the great old hometown hardware stores, and I hope they never close.

Always a good experience. Friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I will always try to go to Beamers first. Most of the time they have what you need and are happy to help you find it. If you don't see it, ask, because they may have it in the basement like central vac materials...who knew or they will bring it in for you. Agreed the store may not be visually appealing but I challenge you get better service elsewhere...or even close considering the competition in the area.

A great hardware store. Every time I stop at Beamer's instead of going to a big box store I find everything I needed and save an annoying trip to the city. Really glad to have them in town.

Beamers is my go to store and with living in an old house, they have been amazing to me. Jim, Doug, and Lloyd and not only extremely kind, they go out of their way to help. For example, they put a bbq together for me and when they delivered my washing machine and the attachment didn't match the old one, they fixed it at no cost. I also often go in with a photo of something I need to fix and they help me figure it out and have probably saved me many hundreds of dollars! The store also has many items that are hard to find elsewhere and Jim fixes all sorts of things enabling the customers to keep using their items. Yes, the store is worn but the people make the place. I would be very sad if they weren't there anymore! Thank you Jim, Doug, and Lloyd for all your patience, laughter, and help. I am the the do-it-yourself-lady because of you all!!! I know that will make you guys smile!

I called from the back of the store where it says "Store Entrance" and was told to go around front but that there was a line up and they could not serve me that day! As I was leaving, I drove around the front... NO ONE was there! Thanks for nothing, Jim. I won't be back.
