Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Usually my go to when Im in town visiting family but I recently went last weekend and was pretty disappointed. Service has never been great but it seemed to go even more downhill and the food portion used to be great but now its hardly worth it and they forgot some of my food so I had to ask for the rest of it. They also told us "we don't do substitutions" when asked if we could sub out the potatoes for a small bowl of fruit. Its funny because not 5 minutes later an obvious "regular" came in and when they asked if she could have only one egg instead of 2 and get some fruit instead they got a "yea that will be no problem". Only good part of the meal was the breakfast potatoes, they are fantastic.

Years ago I was served mouldy french toast which I initially thought were just blueberries, sadly that wasn't the case. I naturally stopped going for quite some time, however, met up with a friend there recently and my breakfast was very good! I still shied away from the french toast and our waitress was oddly pushy while continuing to directing us on how to place things on our table through out our meal. Most likely will not return.

Kelsey's style menu for dinner, and matching prices, but not quality. My fish and chips were clearly a frozen product - not what I'd expect for the price. My group suspected that the chicken was also frozen. The food wasn't bad, but definitely not what I'd expect for the prices on the menu.
