The Società Caruso is an Italian Cultural Club formed in 1947 that works "to promote, enhance and preserve Italian culture and heritage within the Canadian Multicultural Mosaic; to render assistance to persons of Italian nationality in need; to establish and maintain a library and archives of Italian heritage".
Members serve as directors and volunteers to work towards these goals, hosting events, festivals, and educational opportunities for the entire community to embrace Italian culture and traditions. Membership is open to not only peoples of Italian heritage but to everyone.
