Penticton Buffet

Never again! Ginger beef was 90% breading, almond chicken was like leather with no almonds, no pineapple in the pineapple sweet n sour pork. Got sick at 4am and again at 7. What a waste of $100

I can’t express how bad this buffet is. The food was absolutely terrible. I couldn’t eat anything but the soup. It gave me and my family food poisoning afterwards aswell. It had a horrible selection of food, and horrible service. I’ve never seen a buffet this expensive and this bad. If you are thinking of coming here with your family I’d recommend not to. The waitress came to our table once for water and we had to look for her to get more. Once we were done she was badgering me for a bigger tip. She kept telling me a % and tried to do it herself. Overall worst experience at a buffet/ restaurant in the Okanagan.

My husband and I stopped last nite. Ordered off the menu. It was so awful I didn't leave a tip. It was disgusting. No flavor to be had. Plain plain. Minimal service. Will never go back.

Was so looking forward to a tasty chinese meal! Ordered a take out here based on super good 9.8 score reviews on Skip the Dishes. Maybe they were having a bad day idk. Portions were great actually, but you could snort the spring roll and still wonder if you got any. OK exaggerating a bit, but they were so disgracefully tiny! The ample portion chicken/pineapple fried rice was utterly tasteless. I've had boiled rice with more taste. The very dry sweet & sour pork was also awful. Also ample portions but really, why bother. The meal felt recycled and barely warm! One plastic fork mouthful and the rest gone to composting. Our first & last time here!

Horrible not much on buffet told us they would bring more and fresh only brought 1 item old and dry no taste very disappointing. Children are charged as adults. Definitely won't be back.

Worst buffet i ve ever went, all the sauce where like water ..so everything that was fried was actually smoochy …i wont talk about the desert … make no sense … Chinese palace have no buffet but the portions are huge and the quality is insane… dont waste your money here

Very disappointed. Wonton was good. Everything else was questionable. Also performed the cardinal nono. Mixing fresh batch of food to the old product in the buns.Food: 2/5

I was really worried about ordering from here as I have had terrible experiences from both buffet places in the past during covid times. I called to check that they honor their 10% off for pick up orders on take out. She clarified that it's only 10% off on full priced menu items. So no combination orders. That makes sense. I put in a $73 order and only paid $66.95 so I wasn't complaining there. The food was fresh and what you would expect from a local chineese restaurant. Much better experience from the last time I ordered here. The broccoli was cooked in the beef and broccoli. I ordered the dry pork ribs and the honey chicken. A pork chowmien was flavorful and full of pork and a small steamed rice that was fresh. The 2 egg rolls were crispy and restaurant made. No complaints from the food. I was also given a free chowmien for ordering over $50 of food. That was a pleasant surprise. Ordered at 5.30 and was told to pick up at 6.30 and food was ready. Will definitely buy again from this location when we are feeling like some chineese food.

Came in when they opened at 11:30 am and was excited as usually that early, food are freshly cooked. Guess what! My family and I were so disappointed and they served us heated food!!! We ordered 4 items and the salt and pepper seafood was the worst! The food was re-heated and served to their customer. Rubbery on the inside and really crunchy and hard on the outside. They don't serve you freshly cooked food. Probably a left over from the day before and was re-heated?!?! Not sure why this restaurant is claiming their the best in Penticton - Trust me, I've done so many restaurant reviews and so far this is the worst. Don't waste your money, it's not worth it. False marketing claiming to be the best! what a joke.
