On 7/13 I walked in to place a to-go order and was told to wait while the girl checking out was prepping a meal. No problem, but this location appears very short staffed and untrained. I waited while two customers after me received their meals. I felt this was odd because they didn’t preorder and my sandwich was just a large chicken teriyaki with nothing special. After receiving my sub, I believe I am absolutely done with Penn-station. This was an $11.99 sub that is supposedly a “large”. The bread isn’t even fully cooked! There’s still raw dough inside, hardly any filling as you can see, why would anyone think it’s appropriate to sell? Do not recommend. Response to Penn-Station corporate message below: I contacted you prior to posting this. Not a word from you guys since…
Food is always great! Fries are hand cut. Fresh squeezed lemonade is good too. They run specials from time to time. Also, ask them for a plastic bag if you are taking home. The sandwiches and fries will leak right through. Only issue we had was a few times with pick up orders at the window with them messing up the payment. Charged twice both times but did get corrected.
Not only is the food amazing, the workers are very attentive. I was saved from a very bad time by an employee who made sure I didn't accidentally get any dairy on my sandwich. Definitely feel comfortable coming here knowing they're listening and make delicious food.
Made my fries fresh. Cheesesteak was perfect. I mean i even ate the last piece of break with just a little onion in it. Only bad thing was lemonade was kind of bitter.
Haven't been to Penn Station in years but the service and quality was just as good as I remember. The fries are always great with vinegar. I'll make sure to stop by more!
Just as I was about to order I witnessed the clerk behind the counter grabbing meat with his bare hands while he was preparing my coworkers sandwich. Same guy that's exchanging cash with customers.
I enjoy a Philly from here from time to time. Today was different. The person taking my order was great, the person cashing me out... seemed stressed and unhappy to be at their job and half listening. If you're at work and it's stressing you out, don't show it, take a mental break and step out for a minute. If it's personal stay home or hide that stress. Yes two customers found out they were long time friends and not listening when one of their names were called... Other than that my food was great.
Good quality but the subs are small and incredibly overpriced. No spicy options.
Philly cheesesteak for the win, fresh squeezed lemonade by the gallon, always a delight.Food: 5/5
Wife loves the fries and they always deliver good quality food. Thank you.Food: 5/5
