Story

Located less than an hour from Toronto and downtown Buffalo, Peninsula Ridge Estates Winery on the Niagara Escarpment charms visitors with its fine wines, superb cuisine and exceptional views of Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline.

Peninsula Ridge is part of the Beamsville Bench: The 'bench' occupies a narrow strip of land with vineyards clinging to its slopes. Warm days, cool nights and deep soils help to shape the character of our wines.

A feature landmark is our instantly recognizable Queen Anne revival Victorian manor built in 1885. The house was meticulously restored and is now The Restaurant at Peninsula Ridge, offering an exceptional, fine dining experience in Ontario Wine Country

This summer we had the privilege of holding our wedding at Peninsula Ridge Winery in Beamsville. After hunting high and low for an unconventional venue to host a small, intimate wedding we stumbled upon the Peninsula Ridge. Excited by the idyllic setting, the reasonable price, the size and the fact that we could hold both the ceremony and reception in one location, we were eager to see the venue in person. When we met with Melanie, the restaurant manager, she assured us that we were in good hands, and we certainly were. Melanie was so helpful and unbelievably accommodating, putting our minds at ease whenever she could and answering all of our hundreds of questions. The entire event was seamless, from the ceremony to the photo shoot to the reception; Brandy and the rest of the staff were on point (all of our guests and even other vendors were commenting on the excellent service). The food was absolutely outstanding –as far from typical banquet hall wedding fair as it could be, it was both beautifully presented and delicious. The winery grounds are just spectacular and served as the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. We could not have asked for a better place to hold such an important event and would undoubtedly recommend Peninsula Ridge to anyone! We can’t wait to go back and celebrate our anniversary there with a delicious meal.

waitress went above and beyond to make an undisclosed menu item, right with a customer! otherwise food was great! thanks so much for fabulous service!

I was fortunate to have my wedding at the winery and I can't thank Melanie, Brandi and all the staff enough. They were amazing to deal with which made planning my big day very relaxing. Every little detail was looked after and the day couldn't have gone any better. We are still getting calls from guests telling us how much fun they had "best wedding they've been to in a long time". The food was incredible (we opted for the stand up reception style to allow for more guests) pork sliders, beef sliders, shrimp and chicken sautees yum!! Honestly this was truly the best night ever. You guys really outdid yourselves and my husband and I are forever grateful. Thank you so much

It was very busy the day I visited this so wry and the staff appeared to be very stressed. I'm sure the quality of service would have been better if it had not been so busy. The wine was great though, and the property is beautiful.

I can't thank you all enough... Melanie, Brandy and everyone who assisted us on our special day at the Ridge. You took the time to get to know us, assisted with my many questions and took care of us above and beyond. You made our day feel that much more special.. we will remember you all for years to come, thank you again!
