Story

Pelican's Net is a casual friendly place where people enjoy succulent seafood,steaks and a variety of popular soups & sandwiches in a casual "Coastal Crab shack" atmosphere.
We want you to return time and again, so we operate with that in mind by providing creative chef's features with reasonable portions at fair prices with quality in all we do.
Graze on icy chilled shrimp, snack on great Calabash style fried seafoods, steamed clams, or Oysters on the Half Shell. Munch a crisp fresh salad, savor a chef prepared soup or chowder, or "anchor two hands around a sandwich or burger. For an extra treat, feast on a bountiful "seafood steam pot" or "incredible Premium Choice Black Angus Steak".

Food was just ok, I had the fish sandwich, as other choices were quite pricy. The fish fry at our Legion is much better. Owner Way to Talkative, no time to visit with the other couple, which was our Reason to go out to dinner in the first place! Won't be returning. Maybe Spring, Summer fish meals better, but I won't be the one to find out.

Stopped there tonight for dinner @ 5pm. First sign should've been a hint. One couple other than myself. The waitress brought over the menu and sticker shock set in. Example.. Broiled haddock..$18. I ordered a bowl of seafood bisque which was very good. On the other hand the clams casino extremely disappointing. 8 clams came on the dish. First and second one I could only find 1 PIECE OF clam in each. I asked the waitress and she explained the cook chops them. Each clam had basically a small piece or two. Very disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant between being very over priced. Seems like they are cutting corners. Least on the clams.

Took my wife for a surprise dinner on an off night. The atmosphere was amazing.. The owners made us feel like family, explained the menu as far as where the products came from and how fresh they were.( even explained spices used when asked) Was a very nice place and a just all around great time. Will for sure be eating there again

Menu pricing very expensive. Ordered lobster mac n cheese special for $28. Portion size average, consisting of elbow macaroni, plain cheese sauce with little bit of shreaded lobster. What little lobster that was in the dish was very fishy and bad tasting. Suspect dish was precooked days earlier using old or possibly imitation lobster. Did not eat the dish and removed the cost from the bill. Other guests with our party ordered the 16oz prime rib special ($38) to share by two. The restraunt waived the non stated plate charge of $7.50 because of the bad experience with the lobster mac n cheese. The prime rib was good but way over priced.
