PEKA has managed three properties for us over the past 20years. They are completely on top of everything, all the time. Ask them a question, ask them to do an inspection, ask them to recommend a trade, ask them for an opinion, ask them to let allow a trade access to the property (with tenant approval)... they get back to you almost instantly AND with information that is on point. In addition, we've never had a tenant issue that they have not stick handled. They have simplified the process of owning revenue property, especially from out of town. Can't recommend them enough!

I wouldn't trust Doug Snider to manage 5 dog houses in a row, never mind a multi unit condo complex. This company's communication is deplorable, and make any process infinitely more complicated and costly than dealing with it yourself. I recently experienced a water leak in my unit that caused damage in the unit below. Doug and his team were quick to call in a (very expensive) restoration team to set up fans and turn off the water, but after that I heard nothing from them regarding the process, cost, etc. despite emailing their office several times to ask for information. They were confused and never got back to me with any information UNTIL I got a bill 6 weeks later by snail mail for $1800 which included an unexplained 12 hours of labor done. Turns out, they had been making decisions on my behalf with no communication or consent whatsoever, and simply sent me the bill, giving me about a week to pay. Doug takes days to answer simple emails and ignores requests for information. He admitted at our condo AGM to having trouble managing his email inbox. He is rude and condescending, and makes costly decisions outside of his agency. He makes no effort to keep the owner up to date on what's going on whether that means picking up the phone or sending an email update. He does not own up to his mistakes, does not apologize, and absolutely does not make it right for the customer. My experience with Doug has been nothing less than infuriating, and if I had a choice I would never work with him or this company again. We're about 8 weeks after the incident and I am still waiting for information I have requested over and over again. Not once has he picked up the phone after I requested a call 3 times.

I have used PEKA to rent a place in Canmore and they've been a great company. Helped me find a place that suited my needs and budget, had my furnace fixed in 3 hours when the fan broke; and helped me easily break my lease when I needed to move early for work. Highly recommend utilizing their services to find a place to live in the valley or manage your rental.

PEKA has managed our rental condo in Canmore for almost 10 years. They found us incredible tenants and made our experience as a landlord so effortless! When it came time for us to sell our condo, PEKA went above and beyond all expectations to assist with the transition of the condo to the new buyers. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a superb management company, their friendliness, expertise and professionalism couldn't be any better!
