Pediatric Healthcare Associates

I love nurse Holly and doctor Jalkut is good. But there's a receptionist that answers and is extremely nasty. Makes all the good they do obsolete. If they get rid of her they'd be perfect in my book.

I f'g hate the pediatric office. Daughter went in 3 times about foot pain which progressed so badly and so quickly she could not walk at all. I piggybacked her into the office and they saw it but made no comment. Did not think to prescribe crutches or a scooter or a boot. Think we are faking?!?! Just told us to ice it and take Motrin. We got a pair of crutches ourselves. We also called 30 specialists ourselves and finally one prescribed some scans and a boot to alleviate some pressure. I called the pediatricians office ask if we could get a handicap sign so I can park closer to places for our daughter. And to request a prescription for a scooter. The nurse has the balls to ask why we are calling them and says we should be calling the specialist instead. I was furious and asked if as far as they're concerned this issue is out of their hands. She actually said yes?!?! I yell at her that the reason we went to the specialist because three visits to the pediatric office and they did nothing except prescribe Motrin and ice. Nobody even prescribed crutches or a boot even after watching me piggyback her in. So she tries to say oh they're not washing their hands of us but that we should really contact the specialist because that's who should be watching us now if she still in pain. I hung up on her. What kind of attitude and treatment is that regarding a 10 year old????

LACK OF COMPASSION BY OFFICE STAFF / NEGLIGENCE This past Monday evening my 3 y/o son awoke from his nap with signs and symptoms of an acute ear infection. I attempted to have him evaluated at the walk in clinic next door to this office but was denied secondary to the fact that the clinic was an adult only practice. While I loaded my son into his car seat I noticed that the lights were still on at Pediatric Healthcare Associates. We entered the office at 7:30 pm. I asked the front desk if they were still seeing patient's and they said yes. To note the waiting room was completely empty. As I told them that I thought that my son had an ear infection, a lady sitting in the back of the office asked if my son was currently a patient. When I said no, she rudely said that he could not be seen. When asked why, her reply was that the office was not a walk in clinic and that we would need to be seen next door. I then advised her that the walk in clinic was an adult only practice and again she said sorry they couldn't help. I then asked how can I now make my son a patient of the practice and she said that this was not possible since she didn't have his previous medical records. I have never been so disgusted with the lack of compassion that this individual displayed. She is a direct representative of these Physicians. Maybe she should be reminded that the Doctors that she works for took the Hippocratic Oath. So I left the office with my son crying and saying " Doctor won't see me, my ear hurts". We then went to Norwalk ER where he was promptly treated with respect and expertise. Shame on you Pediatric Healthcare Associates.

Never had any problems !! they are very professional !!
